🎮 C.O.D – Control Our Desires

@Covertxomic, first of all, I’m really happy to see your progress and that you are maintaining control and having clean days. Reaching close to 100 days is a big achievement, and I appreciate your effort.

I just wanted to remind you about one small thing regarding the C.O.D. system. The purpose of this challenge is not only maintaining control but also building consistency and accountability through daily reporting.

If you are playing MP Mode, you only need to send your daily check-in:
:green_circle: Controlled Day
:yellow_circle: Urges Handled
:red_circle: Relapsed

Nothing more is required.

If you choose BR Mode, then you can complete special missions like exercise, meditation, journaling, or digital detox to earn additional XP.

The main rule is simple: report every single day. Sending 3–4 days of reports together after some time makes it difficult to track your journey properly. The accountability is ultimately for your own growth; I’m only here to manage and maintain the system.

For now, I won’t be adding XP for missed daily check-ins because consistency is one of the core rules of the challenge.

I hope you understand what I mean. I’m genuinely happy with your progress, and I would love to see you continue following the system properly.

:military_helmet: Mission continues. Keep moving forward.

:military_helmet: Attention Soldiers,

This is a final reminder regarding the C.O.D. challenge.

The purpose of this system is not to be perfect. It is to build honesty, awareness, and consistency through regular check-ins.

If you wish to continue this mission, please start reporting your daily status:
:green_circle: Controlled Day
:yellow_circle: Urges Handled
:red_circle: Relapsed

A simple check-in takes only a few seconds. The game can only be managed when soldiers remain active and communicate.

I respect everyone’s personal journey, and there is no judgment if you decide this challenge is not for you. However, inactive soldiers who do not participate will be removed from the active roster.

I will continue the mission with the soldiers who are showing up and following the system.

I apologize for my language but The door :door: of this game is open for those who are ready to commit regularly.

:military_helmet: Mission continues.

Thank you, brother. :musical_keyboard:

To be honest, I also have a basic electric piano and I don’t really know the chords either. I am still learning myself.

In my opinion, the most important thing is not learning fast, but building the daily habit of playing, even if it’s only 30 minutes a day. Consistency is what makes the difference.

I started by learning a few songs through YouTube tutorials. There are many videos that teach specific melodies step by step, which makes it easier to stay motivated because you can see results quickly.

At the same time, I am slowly learning to read sheet music. There are also some very simple YouTube lessons that explain it from scratch.

I really encourage you to use your keyboard. Besides the satisfaction of finally being able to play a song you like, learning an instrument has many benefits. It improves concentration, patience, discipline, memory, and coordination. It also keeps the mind occupied in a positive way and can be a great help in our personal battle against bad habits.

If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask me. I will be happy to help if I can.

If your goal is to play a song you like as quickly as possible, I would start with a YouTube tutorial for that song. You’ll see results fast and stay motivated.

If you are more patient and want a stronger foundation, you could start by learning the basics first, such as notes, rhythm, reading sheet music, and chords.

Either way, the key is to enjoy the process and keep practicing a little every day. :musical_keyboard::flexed_biceps:

:bullseye: Mission Report

No relapse. Control maintained.

Today I focused on spending time outside and being with friends.

In the morning, I met a friend and accompanied him while he gave a talk about the Bible. After that, I met another close friend and told him about my personal struggle, asking for his support. He accepted and agreed to help me stay accountable and encourage me in this journey.

In the afternoon, I went to the swimming pool with friends, and later I went with another friend to exercise, have something to eat, and talk. I was also able to encourage him and support him in his own personal struggle.

:brain: Reflection

One of the hardest things in this fight against pornography can be opening up to someone else.

But if we truly want to overcome it, taking the courage to speak to someone we trust may be one of the best decisions we can make.

In this battle, we need people who support us and walk with us. It helps us realize we are not fighting alone and that we are not carrying everything by ourselves.

Also, when we focus on helping others who are going through similar struggles, we build real connection and purpose. Supporting others also strengthens our own discipline.

:open_book: Today’s Bible Verse:

“True, no discipline seems for the present to be joyous, but it is painful; yet afterward, it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”

Today also stayed in control and honored your commitment to yourself.
Remember: self-control is not built in one big victory. It is built through many small decisions repeated consistently & you’re doing it.
Keep in mind: Don’t become overconfident. Stay focused, stay aware, and continue stacking clean hours into clean days.

Today’s result:

:yellow_circle: Day 5: Urges Handled

:bullseye: Battle Report

Today was a difficult day.

After several days of insomnia, I was unable to wake up at my planned time to go running and follow my usual routine. Because of that, I lost focus and ended up looking at images that I should not have looked at.

Throughout the morning I experienced strong urges and negative thoughts. I came very close to giving in completely, but I chose not to.

In the afternoon, a friend called me and invited me to join him in the preaching work. Going out helped me break the cycle and regain control. I was also able to talk with a trusted family member who is supporting me in this journey and I explained what had happened during the day.

I felt tired, weak, and mentally drained. However, I achieved something that I rarely achieve. Normally, when the urges become this strong, I end up fully relapsing. Today I thought about my companions in this challenge and decided that I would rather have a difficult day where I stayed partially firm than a day where I gave up completely.

:white_check_mark: Trigger identified: insomnia and loss of routine

:white_check_mark: Action taken: preaching work, talking with a trusted family member, resisting urges

:white_check_mark: Control recovered

:trophy: Result: Urges Handled

:open_book: Today’s Bible Verse:

James 1:12

“Happy is the man who keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving Him..”

I hope to return to my routine tomorrow and keep moving forward.

:clipboard: C.O.D. Mission Report Reviewed

:cross_mark: Mission Failures:

  • Failed to wake up on schedule and complete the morning routine.
  • Allowed loss of focus after the routine broke.
  • Entered a danger zone by viewing forbidden images.
  • Allowed urges and negative thoughts to remain active for a long period.

:white_check_mark: Mission Successes:

  • Did not allow the slip to turn into a complete relapse.
  • Made a tactical retreat by changing the environment and joining preaching work.
  • Contacted the support squad (trusted family member) and reported the situation.
  • Remembered the team and fought until the end of the mission.

:writing_hand:t2: Commander’s Verdict:

This was not a perfect mission. You took damage and made critical mistakes. However, the mission was not lost because you recovered before total defeat.

Your enemy today was not only the urge — it was lack of sleep, a broken routine, and staying too long in the battlefield. The next mission objective is clear: strengthen your sleep discipline, protect the first hour of your day, and execute an emergency escape plan immediately when the first warning signs appear.

You are not rewarded for getting hit. You are rewarded for recognizing the attack, calling for backup, and continuing the fight.

Overall, this was a difficult day with some mistakes, but you did not surrender completely. Learn from what caused the slip (insomnia and a broken routine) and prepare a plan to handle it better next time. Keep moving forward.

@Kanzo Now you have competition here @Soldier167
Be consistent do more special missions and handle urges but stay firm you’ll get more XP’s and Rank and rewards.
You both can help each other by motivating or give advise or each one accountable to companions here will be beneficial.

@Soldier167 if you create a separate Journal where you write your thoughts and triggers and recovery plan you’ll earn XP points here.

Identifying the triggers is not enough you should have a recovery plan when this situation comes again what you will do?

I think it’s not appropriate to rejoin anytime. Those who faliled to report, should be waititng untill the current operation ends. Just for more order and organization.
