Well
Looks like what you said is true for me
I’m in. I don’t know if I’m ready, but there’s no going back now.
Boy this is going to suck.
Edit - Btw there are times when I will need to interact with women. I hope that’s excused.
I’m unable to do things for a long term so I make a promise here. Tomorrow no matter what I will not entertain myself with any kind of media. My only focus will be studies and self development. I will be all lonely but I will not go to the fucking internet to amuse myself. No matter whatever happens tomorrow I’m going to do it.
Hey, don’t take Brahmacharya to take a bad impression on yourself.
You can do it for a week for a beginner, then, you can adopt it if you feel it made an impact.
It’s quite simple, no sexual activities and absolutely no interaction with the opposite sex expect you can talk and be normal with teachers, mum, sister etc.
Even if it’s absolutely necessary to total to a girl, it’s alright.
Just be careful to not let it convert into a fantasy or such stuff.
Talking to a girl is unavoidable sometimes in a few situations, you can’t do anything for things to happen, so if you think you violated your code, then do pratikraman,i.e
Seek forgiveness from Yourself (your true and honest part/ heart) and most importantly God himself.
And finally, celibacy and Brahmacharya are flexible, you can adjust it to suit yourself but you can’t bend the rules to make way for sexual stuff.
Man, was looking for you to see if you still in the royal rumble battle.
Well, good for you, it will become easier with Brahmacharya, read the rules above and ponder on them.
The basics, no contact with opposite sex and your behaviour should be in such a way that you repel from them. Interaction with family members like sisters , mum and teachers etc is absolutely no problem.
And, if you are in an unavoidable situation and it’s absolutely necessary to talk to a women, it’s alright, there’s no problem in that.
Talk respectfully and be normal ( it’s not that serious ).
Sexual and love contact should be avoided at all costs. If you happen to do something to violate the code, seek forgiveness from God and yourself.(pratikraman).
If you happen to have a partner (opposite sex), no sexual contact and be loyal.
And as usual, nothing else with any other woman.
I had an exam today, was average but that’s not what I’m talking about.
There was this girl beside me, (2 feet?) in the exam hall who just kept looking at me .
It genuinely creeps me out but I’m so used to it now because literally everyone, looks at me like I’m someone else. ( Like how you look at someone who is impressive, I’m not flexing or anything, just wanted to put out an example to make you understand better).
Usually, I would glance at her ( I donno who she is and I’ll talk about it below) but, as a Brahmachari practitioner , I did not even bother to look at her, to judge her by any means.
I noticed her glancing at me many, many times and for longer duration . I noticed it in my peripheral vision, I’m not lying, I saw it .
I felt no need to turn my head and look who she is.
I knew that if I did glance, I would lust immediately because all it takes is one excuse and boom go the basics.( got that title from a porno🤮).
So yeah, that’s a good experience and I did manage to stay strong.
Bruh there’s a high chance that she was hoping to get some answers from you… When we copy and want answers from someone we tend to look at someone until they look back so that we can ask questions immediately. I’ve done. Everyone does it. Not to burst your bubble or anything, but since it was an exam, a girl checking you out throughout the exam rather than focusing on her exam is highly unlikely
Mate, I did think about that , I knew she was seeking answers since I score 100 in past exam , but dude, if you noticed a girl looking at you, well better staring at you, before and after the exam ended , I donno the meaning because I’m genuinely not here to tell about that experience being cool or anything, shit I’m running from such things anyway.
I just felt that you will be tested by being put into dire situations and you, the person experiencing it must be ready to handle it with care.
I just wanted to express the importance of Brahmachari practice, to make you get away from imminent danger and to make you a strong person, mainly mentally.

@zorim I haven’t eaten animel meat and dairy products during the last 2 days, I also avoided sugar and caffeine, nicotine and alcohol so far. Reading/listening to Spiritual metarial really helps to keep going - diet is going fine.
I haven’t found a “Satsanga” - the company of holy people. The people around me are not Atheists but surely not striving towerds being more holy and spiritual.
The next holy book I am going to read is The Practice of Brahmacharya - by Swami Sivananda.
Hope you’re doing fine.
That’s the very reason why I created this topic, to get all Brahmacharis together and to make an unison , so that we Inspire and push each other to keep going.
You are doing well, keep doing it.
Always be present in the moment (can be enhanced by mindfulness meditation) and think wisely if you were to come close to a relapse and don’t be alone during such intrusive thoughts.
