Tomorrow is exceptional. It’s day 1 of my last year in high school. If I want a better future, I must make it the best. Though I know my timetable sucks but damn I’ll try to find time to exercise, read, play the piano, and do other useful activities and most importantly, get rest cause I need to recharge my battery from time to time but in a smart way. I will sacrifice pleasure over discipline. Maybe I failed many times to keep discipline but this time, I actually don’t have a choice. Though I stayed clean till now, I will count tomorrow as day 1 cause all that happened before it was just a warm-up. The real beginning of change starts from tomorrow. I will do my best to journal for the next 365 days. Though I might fail a day or more but I will do my best. I will quote this post one year later and compare it. I won’t forget to do so cause I will bookmark it after posting it and set a reminder for 1 year later. This time I think I finally figured out what was missing, I knew I was missing the right mindset before but now I know what it’s about. Self-improvement is not about being perfect from the start, it’s about trying your best to be better than you were yesterday for as long as you live. Failing 1 day or 2 or 7 is not a reason to reconsider this decision. Each day is a gift, a second chance to live with purpose. The present is a precious offering, meant to be cherished. When we understand what to believe in, we find the strength to act. And through action, we discover what is truly worth believing.
