Any addicted for more than 30 years?

Hi, I was addicted for 30 years and now I’m trying to quit. My last streak was 10 days and I relapsed because I hadn’t set up the blockers on my phone. Now I’m on day 6 and my mind is playing tricks on me, since the night before I had to masturbate without ejaculating using memories of the videos I had seen. And today it’s like my mind is finding ways to get to the material. For example, I use BLOCKERX and I bypassed it by going through Reddit. I’m sharing my experience and any suggestions are welcome

20 years here.

Have you tried to work on finding the reason of your behaviour? Have you had therapy? I’ve learnt that it for me it started as a way of escape from life struggles - stress, loneliness etc. Later on it became my routine, but the key imo is to find the rooted problem, on deeper level and work on it.

Blockers could assist in your journey, but won’t solve the cause.

I’m still single. Not able to win this battle.Main reason is loneliness and lack of purpose.
My severely addicted brain never let me stay motivated.
Really frustrating.

I can’t really tell you what the rooted problem is because I’ve been masturbating since I was 6 years old. Over time, the method changed: movies, MTV music videos, DVDs, Ares or eMule and xxx sites, mutating the content throughout the years. I don’t think there was a rooted problem at such a young age or maybe there was, but I never identified it. The problems came later as a result of PMO, such as social anxiety or erectile dysfunction. I did pay for a psychologist and although it didn’t help me quit it at all, it did help me get to know myself better.
I have goals in life, I know where I’d like to be in the future, it’s just that PMO slows down the process because of the time it takes from me during and after the act.

Is it even biologically possible ?

Definitely possible as we were born with genitals.
