I’m currently under anti-inflammatory prostate medication for 30 days. The doctor said nothing to worry, prostatitis usually goes away without much issue in most men and since my inflammation is not in serious condition and the symptoms have gone already, and 4 days left for my medication period to get over. The doctor said, I have to ejaculate after the medication period to notice if I feel any pain down there. And he said my medication has side affects like dry ejaculation, which goes away after medication is over. So he wants to make sure the side affect is also gone. I have planned to ejaculate on someday 1st week of June to check my system is working okay. So that day i will have to reset my Rewire counter. It would be hard to reset it that day. It’s like falling from richness to poverty.
Update: Just for the record, I have decided to discard the decision to preplan masturbation because the doctor said my prostate is normal, urine infection report says things are clear and normal. And while the doctor says I should masturbate and check if it’s okay, he didn’t look negative nor severely concerned, he also said it is optional because many guys after prostatitis meds started experiencing normal ejaculation. And I don’t feel any discomfort and pain. So, discarded the plan to masturbate. CASE CLOSED.
I’m already living with other side affects of this medication for close to 3.5 weeks. That is, light-headedness while standing and sitting abruptly. The name of the medication is Silodosin. But prostate issues gone which I feel quite thankful for.
You need to do what needs to be done for your health in this case, what the doctor said is necessary, soo don’t over think it, days do not stop and you are doing this not for pleaseure but for medical reasons.
On Wikihow they are suggesting to masturbate to keep prostate healthy.
It just doesn’t get any more confusing than this. We all want to be alive and happy. On one side we have ■■■■ and masturbation addiction and on the other side we have MDs and Wikihow asking us to masturbate.
When I see this types of recomendations from doctors I take them with a grain of salt no masturbating is not healthy, this is the only centurie us humans have fully discovered pmo, our ancestors did not do it, they just lived if it’s a baby you wanted then you made babys if it’s sex then it was sex and even back then people did not have as much sex. Now what do we feel after pmo? Great? Energetic? Happy? I don’t think so.
Doctors have killed alot of people just do what feels healthy for you bro
Me too. But I just badly wanted doctors (MDs) to say something strongly against fapping. I’m surprised that none discourage it. Why is the scientific community quiet about this? No idea.
I wish I could know for sure what the most successful, powerful, rich and prosperous people have to say about PMO and NoFap etc. I wonder where Bill Gates stand on this.
Btw, I’ll never return to porn. Because I’m 100% convinced that it damages the mind. And regarding NoFap I’m doing it for 3 months without any doubt in my mind. And then after that I shall review myself.
From what I have seen there is even a video about famous, rich, influential people who spoke against it, its on youtube there is no way this habit can be healthy
@s8k8 you had an illness and the doctor has to check whether or not you can ejaculate. He’s not speaking for or against porn or fapping. It’s just a test. If he new well about your sex life he could have also just asked you to have sex. But since this is a private issue it’s easier for him to ask you to masturbate
The wikihow article exactly said the truth. It’s just no known which effects fapping has on our body. It’s not per se bad or good. It effects our whole body and mind. Some effects might be good, other might be bad. It’s important to have a balance.
even among famous people there isn’t one solution. Take Elon Musk. People tell about him that he is 90% Engineer and 10% Playboy.
