How come an urge always hits within a few hours a reaching the next day?
At least for me anyway.

It kinda depends on the behavioural pattern regarding the porn consumption or fapping. If you are just watching porn regularly and have a high craving for it then, the craving is bound to return quickly. Same could happen regarding fapping also.
My suggestion: Develop willpower, realize the immediate goals for your life and avoid any distractions that you can. We are in this together.
