[29 M] Kelvz' journey

I have downloaded this app since I feel very addicted to fap since I was still 13 years old and I am now 29yrs old. The longest no fap I can remember is only 7days straight and it only happened once.

I am using this app for 2 days and I again fapped today twice! :frowning:

I feel that I’m very far from my ambition and goals in life since I’m always tired and exhausted with fapping addiction be it on porn or just sexual thoughts and imagination. I lack focus and determination…

I hope I can win this battle against this addiction so I can be a successful man and be able to focus on what Im doing and abandon this evil sexual thoughts fapping…

so help me God… amen!

Fight it , the more you fight it the more stronger you become than your urge. By fighting I mean do something to get rid of the urge, sitting idle won’t help.
Take a shower
Go for a walk
Call someone
Play your favourite game
Listen to music
etc.

I remember my longest no fap is just 7 days years ago and it only happened once… This is the only time I have no fap and porn for 10 days… Such a great achievement for me… Since I was 13 years old until now I’m 29, this is the longest I got 10 DAYS!

Look at you, you have already crossed 10 days! Now you have to make slow and steady steps one at a time, to overcome this addiction. I recommend start with adding meditation and journaling (as you are already doing it) regularly.
This will also help you in achieving your other ambitions and goals in life.
Just focus on the small steps and you will make it to the top, before you even know it.
Good luck @kelvzfocus

Amazing job man!

That is the best feeling to finally beat your greatest streak.

As tuku said though, get ready to buckle down and really invest in your strategies. Passing your highest is a great achievement, but I often find that urges will strike fast and hard once you pass this point. I think it would be good to also take up some new and proven strategies that tuku mentioned, journaling being my huge recommendation.

Journaling every day when your urges are most prevalent can help you to work through them and beat them. Write down how your day was, your stressors, triggers, and your urges. Write down what you will do about it, etc. It will go a long way in helping you to stay mindful during the coming storms.

Great job again man :+1:

Stay strong :muscle:

Hey bro, don’t get down on yourself. Remember that you beat your highest streak in the process! That’s an amazing achievement despite the relapse. Remember this journey is all about learning. When we relapse, it doesn’t mean we failed, it means we still have more to learn, new strategies to develop, and more to understand about ourselves.

Why don’t you take some time to write down here what went wrong? I think it would really help you to understand this more. And maybe we can help you to find better strategies or improve the ones you currently have. Tell us how it all happened and let’s work through this together.

We are all rooting for you man, don’t give up!

Don’t blame yourself: there won’t be any use from negative emotions. Just think through the moments you decided to relapse. Make clear that exactly made you to relapse. Don’t make this mistake again.
Good luck, friend, we are all together in this fight :muscle::handshake:
