Reflection of My Day
Today has been a heavy day for me—a day where the shadows of my past crept in, uninvited and unrelenting. I found myself looking back, just for a moment, and everything began to spiral. It’s strange how even a small glance behind can feel like being pulled into a storm. But instead of letting the chaos consume me, I turned to prayer meditation. I needed stillness—God’s voice, not mine. I needed to remember who leads me, and what He’s calling me toward.
In that moment of struggle, I chose to close my journal—Sanctified Discipline: A Christian Journal for Sexual Sobriety—not out of defeat, but discernment. I realized that, today, it was stirring more reflection on the pain of the past than on the hope of the present. It wasn’t a step back—it was an act of faith. I haven’t relapsed. By the grace of God, I am stronger than the temptations I once gave into. That strength isn’t mine alone—it’s God’s power working through my obedience, my discipline, and my refusal to give up.
I am a fighter. I live by the words of Colonel John Paul Jones: “I have not yet begun to fight.” These aren’t just bold words to me—they are a creed, a reminder that though the battle rages, I will not surrender. Zero tolerance isn’t just a strategy—it’s a sacred boundary. It’s my path to freedom. Every time temptation knocks, I choose to stay standing, because I know my Savior stands with me.
Today reminded me that trials are never far behind, but neither is God. He is always ready to deliver—again and again—from the chains of yesterday. I am walking forward, slowly sometimes, but always forward.
Stay strong. Stay vigilant. Keep your armor on, and your eyes on Christ.

Very disappointing indeed, but I will make an effort to get back on track. I pray we all stay strong and those of you who are still standing, keep the fire burning and never look back!

I am very, very sorry to hear of it bro. We fought together back in the early days and we will fight together now 
. Do not, under any circumstances, make the same mistake that I did and have a string of relapses. Don’t say “oh, I’ve done pretty well”, and look at average streak or whatever. Make it the last time and you and those around you will thank you bro 
never look back indeed!

Thank you for all the love and overwhelming support bros. There’s no failings, only lessons. Your words push me to only want to do better and be stronger. I’ll fight harder and show up every day. What this relapse period has taught me is that my words and intentions are empty if i don’t back them up with action. So, i’m going to strive to be a man of action.

Don’t worry so much @ncubeanelem it’s a part of journey and every part of the journey there is a learning. You will get that huge streak again. I know it will be difficult for you to see that 0 but don’t worry it’s just a matter of time nothing more or less. Just a minor setback.
