2025! 365 days or more to beat korn and masturbation

Happy 2025!
However this year simply means that we need to work harder in ourselves. The same way we plan to improve ourselves, the same way the enemy has gotten stronger, that is korn!
So lets commit ourselves this year 2025 and break free from all addictions by fasting from:
:white_check_mark: TV for a good time(1 month minimum)
:white_check_mark: social media doomscrolling ( scrolling too much or too much in the media in FB.etc…) *recommended to delete them for a time being if possible and act like your fasting from all stimulations. You can still look at messages people write to you but try not to be addicted.
:white_check_mark: fast from sugary foods and heavy processed foods alot especially at night ( no exceptions)
:white_check_mark: sleep 7 to 8 hours minimum every day and wake up on time to conquer your day.
:white_check_mark: no dating apps whatsoever until you finish 90 days minimum of korn free and masturbation. This will reset your brain and even you will feel like dating apps arent needed and that its best to talk to girls one on one in person maybe. Who knows. ( do if your feel you have more self control)
:white_check_mark: Fast from too much headphone use if possible. ( alot of people seem to be addicted to it, i understand but if you want to really live in the moment and get rid of too much ear worms in the mind. You will need to eventually fast here to.) You can still listen to music, just dont make it too much of a habit of having headphones.

IT WILL BE A HARD JOURNEY. BUT SO WORTH IT!

THINGS TO DO:

:white_check_mark: read more books, drawing, play guitar, dance, sing, hobbies, etc…or write in journal to distract mind from TV and keep productivity.

:white_check_mark: if have social anxiety, try to go outside room minimum more than 2 times per month other than shopping for foods or clothes. ( maybe trips to trails etc. from experience, no matter what, try to do this even if alone outside. You will feel good about yourself and refresh self.Human is meant to be social outside house as well. It is in our nature!!

:white_check_mark: exercise more

:white_check_mark: read more to distract mind to be more productive and gain more knowledge in your life

:white_check_mark: persistent in hygiene regimen. from experience. I regret not doing it earlier but im not too late :blush:

:white_check_mark: telling yourself positive affirmations so that you can beat negative energy and negative talks in the mind. from experience

:white_check_mark: try to take breaks in between your day so that you dont gas yourself out ( small rests if you need them, do it!!) from experience

:white_check_mark: meditate more often in journey. This battle is mostly mental and other is body. But if mastery of mind is possible then you can gain lots in this world. from experience

:white_check_mark: persistent in disciplining self by following all this list above!!!

Day 1
Happy new years 2025! Finally made it.
Today i plan to do some exercise after a good festive time we had on celebrating the new years and holidays. Eat well first thing. I will also fast from stimulants like TV for a bit and my phone for a bit to be in stillness and become more spiritual.
What i did:
:white_check_mark: exercised
:white_check_mark: ate well
:x: i ended up binge watching squid game series till midnight.
:x: slept late.

it would seem that a little bit of TV watching is an excuse to binge watch and watch alot. So fast from TV

Day 2
As i said i slept late last night so after eating my breakfast i will rest for a bit to regain energy. I will work later at my retail job around 6 p.m. till 10 p.m. after work, i will eat oatmeal and this tea drink that helps with insomnia so i can fall asleep faster.

I relapsed yesterday. I know i said i was going to fast from TV watching but when i said that, i meant not on weekdays and only saturdays and sundays. But unfortunately TV can get addicting because something called
“dopamine.” when we have low dopamine because we have only gotten this feel good feeling from korn then we get numb from other activities and it wont be high like korn or TV would or even how the stimulation of social media. So until i get a good dopamine, TV watching won’t be done in my room but in the living room with my family. In that way, TV watching is controllled. Besides my family will watch their own content or even have family TV time. So for now, no TV watch in room :x:

Today i woke late because i was watching this anime show filled with drama last night and it got addicting Watching it. Watched from 11 p.m. till.2 a.m. crazy. Its been like a habit even if i dont watch TV. Like if i am in social media scrolling, time will pass eventually and it will be midnight soon.
So today i plan to do exercise like cardio and eat well…get some sunshine this late morning. Do meditation as well and explore different ways to meditate.

Things to keep in mind so relapse doesn’t happen:

  1. Fast from TV in own room especially if TV is a high dopamine than other activities in life.
  2. Limit social media content watching
    (After 12 a.m. no social media,TV, phone use, electronics)
  3. Sleep on time and get 7 hours minimum of sleep.
  4. Exercise cardio and intense workout
