"What Can Wash Away My Sins, Nothing But the Blood of Jesus" [38 M]

Journal Introduction: “What Can Wash Away My Sins, Nothing But the Blood of Jesus”

Welcome to What Can Wash Away My Sins, Nothing But the Blood of Jesus. This journal is designed as a spiritual and personal reflection space, focusing on the powerful message of redemption, grace, and transformation found in the blood of Jesus Christ. While this is not an official journal, its aim is to provide a meaningful tool for me seeking spiritual renewal, overcoming personal struggles, and pursuing a path of purity and holiness.

The theme “Nothing But the Blood of Jesus” highlights the central tenet of Christianity: Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is the only means by which sins are forgiven, and through His blood, believers are offered a new life free from guilt, shame, and condemnation. This journal is dedicated to those who wish to meditate on this truth, engage in personal reflection, and take actionable steps toward spiritual freedom and moral integrity.

Journal Rules:

  1. Honesty and Openness: The journal is a personal space for reflection. I will be as open and honest with myself as possible in my writing. It is through vulnerability that true healing and transformation occur.

  2. Daily Commitment: To maximize the benefit of this journal, aim to engage with it daily. Each day, I write a reflection on my thoughts, struggles, and progress, focusing on the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood and the ways in which it impacts your life.

  3. Consistency with Nofap Principles: As part of the journey towards spiritual renewal, this journal supports the Nofap principles. This means maintaining purity, especially in areas of lust, self-control, and self-discipline. Commit to refraining from all forms of sexual immorality, including pornography and masturbation, as these behaviors may hinder spiritual growth and personal development.

  4. Grace and Patience: Understand that spiritual growth is a process. There will be days of struggle and temptation, but the blood of Jesus is a constant reminder that forgiveness and grace are always available. Don’t be discouraged by setbacks, but instead focus on the next step toward purity.

  5. Prayerful Meditation: Each entry will begin with a prayer, inviting God’s presence into my life and seeking His guidance for the day. Reflecting on the Scripture passages provided, allowing me to inspire my thoughts and actions.

Benefits of This Journal:

  • Spiritual Renewal and Forgiveness: By engaging with the concept of Jesus’ blood as the ultimate cleansing agent, I’ll come to experience deeper levels of spiritual renewal, experiencing forgiveness in both small and large areas of life.

  • Healing from Past Hurts: Engaging in reflective writing about the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood offers a therapeutic outlet for emotional healing. Whether struggling with guilt, shame, or trauma, the message of forgiveness and restoration can help you find peace and emotional strength.

  • Stronger Connection with Christ: This journal facilitates a deeper relationship with Christ by constantly reminding you of His sacrifice and love. I will come to understand the significance of His blood in a personal way, fostering intimacy with God.

Nofap Guidelines within the Journal:

The Nofap movement, which focuses on abstinence from pornography and masturbation, is aligned with this journal’s goal of spiritual and personal growth. The discipline practiced here will empower you to live a life of greater purity and integrity.

  • Accountability: I will track my journey by recording my thoughts, temptations, and victories. This will help keep me accountable to my goals.

  • Triggers and Temptations: Reflect on the moments where I feel tempted and address them with Scripture, prayer, and the reminder of Jesus’ blood that offers forgiveness and cleansing.

  • Self-Improvement: I will use this journal to focus not only on abstinence but also on improving overall character and emotional health. The goal is not just to stop a behavior, but to grow in strength, wisdom, and holiness.

This journal is a personal tool and is not an official publication or institution. It is created for me to seek a closer walk with Jesus and a stronger commitment to purity. May it guide me in my pursuit of freedom, healing, and a life that reflects the redemptive power of Christ’s sacrifice.

Scripture Reflection:
“The blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7

Reflection:
Today, I’m reminded that no matter what I’ve done, the blood of Jesus has the power to cleanse me. I’ve struggled with feelings of guilt and shame in the past, but as I reflect on this verse, I realize I don’t have to carry those burdens anymore. His sacrifice covers it all, and I’m free.

I’ve been working on staying pure in my thoughts and actions, especially when temptation arises. It’s not easy, but I’m grateful for the strength He gives me each day. I can choose not to give in to lustful thoughts or impulses because I know that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Nofap Reflection:
This week has been a challenge, especially when I felt tempted late at night. But I chose to pray and focus on Jesus’ love instead. It wasn’t easy, but I’m proud that I resisted. I know I’m growing stronger each day.

Closing Prayer:
Father, thank You for the power of Your blood that washes away my sins. Help me to continue walking in purity and truth. When temptation comes, remind me of Your love and sacrifice. Amen.

By following these steps, I’ll create a meaningful and reflective journaling habit that keeps you focused on the cleansing power of Jesus’ blood and your journey toward spiritual renewal and purity.

Scripture Reflection:
Colossians 1:13-14 (KJV) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Reflection:
I am reminded that Jesus has delivered me from this power of darkness. He has transformed me to be holy and acceptable for his kingdom. I have redemption from all my sins through his blood, for Jesus has forgiven me of my sins. These verses serve as a powerful reminder of the transformative impact of God’s grace and the responsibilities that come with being part of his kingdom. As believers internalize these truths, they are empowered to live lives that reflect the light and love of Christ, making a difference in the world around us.

NoFap Reflection:
Today has been the most of struggle that I have had. My day is the most difficult to deal with. I am reminded daily from @user1234567890 that the devil is trying to mess with my mind and lose what I have worked for by the grace of God. I am tired of being anonymous so as you see on my profile that I am Samuel. Yes this is my name. As my days grow longer my time is just sometimes a struggle. As I struggle to begin the process of eliminating the fapping, that I will begin my anew with Christ. As @TonyTheChristian has told me yesterday that “Each victory you have is not just taking 1 step forward. It’s a huge leap forward. Each victory transforms you for the better Brother”. This true for me and these words will ring true for me every day. @ejuile also said “I know God would hear our prayers and so don’t be afraid, God will give you the strength not to go ahead with the action and I believe His peace will engulf.” Thank you sister for these words.

Closing Prayer:
Father, thank you for the redemption of your blood. Thank you Father, for sending your Son Jesus, to die on the cross for my sins. Father, I surrender my day to you and help me everyday to remain clean. I want to fulfill my life purpose and be fully committed to your will Lord. When temptations come remind me of your love and sacrifice. In Jesus name, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

Isaiah 53:5 (KJV) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Reflection

I am reminded that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. He was taken to the Gentiles to be crucified. Everything we do in the wrong we are hanging him on the cross again. Our sins were placed upon his shoulder that we may be free from eternal damnation.

Even when we ask for forgiveness of our sins we must fully repent and come clean before God. We must be healed and made whole in the precious blood of the Lamb.

NoFap Reflection

In order to fully expect forgiveness from God we must take each day as the come and don’t even think about the issue or stress that is bothering you. Give your life to God and God will forgive all of your sins. In 1 John 1:9 KJV If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. That means all impurities that hinder us from fully expecting the forgiveness of our Lord and Saviour.

Closing Prayer

Father, I come before you now asking that you remove all impure thoughts from me. Help me Lord to overcome each day as they come. Lord help me to be each and everyday do you’re will. Lord I love you with all my heart, with all soul and with all my mind. Lord I lift your name on high, Lord I love to sing your praises. Thank you Lord for your blessing on my life. I ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

Ephesians 1:7-10 (KJV) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Reflection:

I am reminded today that we have freedom in Christ. The redemption of the blood of Christ washes away all sins that hinder us from being holy. We must be forgiven of our sins so that we can have abundance in wisdom and prudence. He knows everything about us and our talents that we have. Whether it be speaking in tongues or witnessing to others about Christ. When he calls us use home to heaven we will be gathered together from all nations and see Jesus face to face.

NoFap Reflection:

Today has been wonderful. I am feeling better as I draw closer to 100 days. My hair is getting thicker and my skin is getting tighter. I am now feeling like a kid again. My journey through this nofap is a lot better than the last one. When I was on day 25 through 30 my back hurt all the time. Now my back feels fine and it seems to be healing itself from all those years of fapping. Well thanks for listening. God bless y’all and don’t give up hope keep fighting and know that our Redeemer lives.

Closing Prayer

Father thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for this sin that has plagued me ever since I was 13. Thank you each and every day that I wake up to sing your praises. Father thank you for helping overcome this filth that doesn’t need to be in my life. Help me Lord to do your will for my life. Father remove all fantasies from my mind and have my mind clean from from all impurities. I ask this in Jesus name, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

1 John 1:7 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.*

Reflection:

I am reminded today that we must walk in the light as Jesus walked on this earth. We always should be kind to others and not be a back stabber. All are sins from past present and future are cleansed by the blood of Jesus. We must fulfill the promise that God has given to all of us. We sinners are all saved by grace.

NoFap Reflection:

As I read this verse that was provided it also reminds me that this habit can be taken care of by the blood of Jesus. Masturbation is a sin that is what I have been researching for the past few days. Even in the old testament it says that if you spill semen on clothes or on you it will be unclean for seven days. The impurities that plague our minds also comes from the heart. As things go don’t think about things that will make you fall and be a stopping you from fulfilling your purpose with God.

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father,
I come before you now asking that you will help my friends be strong and not give into this habit. Remove all impurities from there thoughts. God I praise you today for helping me to direct my thoughts upon you. Lord be my guiding light and help me each and everyday to fulfill your purpose in my life. Father I ask that you will remove the sin that has plagued me for a long time.

In Jesus name, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Reflection:

I am reminded today that we must humble ourselves and pray. We must turn from our wicked ways and will forgive us. Our hearts will be fulfilled with the love of Christ. Our minds must be pure from all forms of sin (including this sin). God will not hear our prayers if we have anything hindering us from the love of Christ. To except the responsibility of prayer one must put away these sins that don’t belong in the will of God. In 1 John 1:9 (KJV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. As you see these sins must be confessed before Almighty God.

NoFap Reflection:

Today has been a wonderful fulfilling day. I have very minimal urges but nothing to be alarmed about. My NoFap Reflection for today is that e must remove this impure sensation to get closer to God. All impurities must be removed from our minds our hearts and our souls. Fapping is a sin and must be dealt with accordingly.

Closing Prayer:

Father thank you for everything that you do for me each and every day. My life is better because of you Lord. By your grace you have made me the person that you wanted. Lord I pray that in the name of Jesus that you remove all sins that I don’t know about and help me to fulfill your purpose. I ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Reflection:

Todays scripture reminds me that God’s grace is sufficient enough for all of us and his strength is made perfect in all of our weaknesses. The glory that we get from abstaining from any worldly pleasure is beyond our minds. There will be a crown given to us all if we keep our minds and our hearts clean. The power that Christ has is better than ours.

NoFap Reflection:

Today I have completed day 60, plan to make it more. I want to fulfill what God has planned for me to do. My mind today is clear of all impurities and all things not of God. God has placed upon my heart now that I must help those in this community to see the truth of Jesus Christ. I know that I might be put down like dirt but my God is stronger than any circumstance that will come along.

Closing Prayer:

Father I come before you now asking you to help me be a light for this community. Whatever it may be help me to fulfill that purpose. Father I know that you said that your will not return unto me void and I believe that with my whole heart. Father I pray that you remove all impure thoughts that is not of you. I ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Reflection:

Today’s scripture reminds me that that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creature. All of the impurities are removed as far as the east is from the west. We must reflect on this scripture to fulfill are daily routine for each day and be acceptable to the will of God. To make things better we must accept the gift Jesus offers. Put away the old self and put on the new.

NoFap Reflection:

Day 61 I am finally accepting this to fulfill what God has for my life. As my title says what can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus this is what make me feel clean and confident enough to move forward in my life. As those that accept this will be better off. I have now understood what my journal means, I have to be washed in the blood of Jesus to wash away my Sins.

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come before asking you to renew my hope in you. I want to completely accept that I am abstinent from this bad habit. Lord I know that I have long way to go to be totally clean. Father you are my hope and my shield. Remove all impurities from my mind and help me to be pure of heart. I ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

1 Peter 5:6-9 (KJV) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Reflection:

Today’s scripture reminds me that we humble ourselves before God, so that we may be exalted in due time. We must cast all our troubles and suffering unto him, because God cares for us. We must always be on the alert because the devil will try to make you fall and the you will feel depressed. We must have faith to resist the devil, knowing that all of our brothers and sisters have suffered this same fate.

NoFap Reflection:

Today has been a wonderful day today. No urges to mention. Focusing now to fulfill what God wants in my life. As everything goes the hope that I have been looking for is here. My life is better after day 60, because days 51 through 60 was the hardest for me to accomplish. As I look back I see that my life wasn’t what it was supposed to be. Focus is more attentive and my urges are now more manageable.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, I pray right now for a brother in this community that he will accept the responsibility of managing his own urges. Father help him to understand that this 5 minute pleaser is not worth it in his life. Father I thank you for your grace and love. Thank you Father fo sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross. I ask now that you remove all impurities and any unknown thoughts from my mind. Thank you Lord for your blessing. I ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Reflection:

Today I am reminded that we must reason together and become one body in Christ. Our sins are red and shall be washed as white as snow. Also sins are red like blood, and be thick as wool.

As you can see this paraphrase means that we must be agreeing with our other brothers and sisters in Christ. Our lives should reflect what God is doing in our life. This sin that has us chained should be removed by the grace of God’s mercy. This sin also is what is holding us back from fulfilling what God has for our purpose.

NoFap Reflection:

Today has been the most wonderful day. I have praying for this to happen for a long time. My life feels a lot better and the pain that has resonated in my back is officially gown. I feel young again and hopefully I don’t get to overconfident about this. But (here is the real kicker) my body is taking everything in proportion and healing everything that was hurting. Like today I hit my knee on the side of the table and then I rub it with my hand for about 5 seconds and then the pain was gone. Praise the Lord!

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for the day that you have given me to live. Thank you for your blessing every day of my life. Lord I ask that in any way that I can help this community please I want to be a beacon of hope for these people. Lord I pray that you will remove all impurities from my mind. Thank you Father for loving me and showing mercy every day. I ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.

Scripture Reflection:

Hosea 4:1 (KJV) Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.

Reflection:

Today’s scripture reminds me that we must hear what God says to us through his word. We are all his children but if we ke doing this sin that has intertwined our fates we have a controversy with our brs and sisters. There will be a longing for the word of God if we continue our bad habit.

NoFap Reflection:

Today I had a wonderful day, nothing to do but relax and think about my journey that I have walked for 64 days. What I was thinking was that if I made my life so much better what would I do? Well first off I would be closer to Redeemer and friend Jesus. Second I would continue my streak and make myself feel better. Third I would like a clear mind and not think impure thoughts.

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father I thank you for your blessing. Lord help me to be an instrument of your glory. Father I pray that you remove all impure thoughts and fantasies from my mind. Lord I love you with all of my heart, soul, and mind. I ask this in the name of Jesus, AMEN.
