I tried locking away apps and phones , it really doesn’t work for me . I always feel left out, in other words it has an opposite effect . But I think everyone has a different approach for this problem if it’s working for you it’s good.

DAY 3
Today I woke up at 4:30 and went for a walk. I am feeling very energetic for the day. So I have decided to go for jogging from tomorrow. And I was actually feeling a bit of happiness for no reason . I like where this is going .

DAY 4
After reading tons of articles and forums , I am somehow surviving the initial stage.
They say week 1-2 are the worst stage which gives us the strongest urges. So I went to search why is that. From what I found is that daily fappers are used to high dopamine release which is equivalent to having drugs. So while rewiring or u can say nofap our brain is getting adjusted and the dopamine is getting back to normal which offcourse our brain is not used to . So my body is itching with urges , I m even having sexual dreams 2 times in a row now. But I get it , all these are sign of progress , a sign of changing . Remember our mind always wants us to be comfortable whether it’s high dopamine or being lazy , but it’s on us to not go on default and waste our life , we should focus on mastering our mind by pushing out of the comfort zone.

DAY 5
Today I struggled the most , I was edging a lot which I am not proud off course, I couldn’t get sexual thoughts out of my mind. But somehow I didn’t relapsed.
But I also saw some benefits like:
• My eyes were feeling wide awake like a cool breeze touching it.
• And I was able to focus on my work without any distractions for 2 hours.
That’s it for now. I will be going hard mode on from tomorrow to avoid edging, my balls hurts.

Do not give up, every attempt is the answer you give your mind to want to change.

I recommend blocking the apps that tempt you.
I had to block several pages and applications. It is true that you feel excluded but I prefer to sacrifice that in order not to do more PMO.

Start with the strongest, like instagram.
Our fight is against the images that have an effect on our mind, we must stop them anyway!

Yes , First checkpoint complete :raised_hands:
I survived the first week somehow , it was very very very hard . I haven’t seen any major benefits till now. Also while waking up in the morning my dick is always hard. Having sexual dreams again.

So for next week I am not planning on surviving, I will fight with all my strength. Full on hard mode. Even if I open and make a peek on nudes stuff. I will reset my counter to 0.

Today I am feeling active and no urges at all. I have cut out all the sources from my reach except YouTube . Day well gone.

Today I got the chance to read “Your brain on ■■■■” by Gary Wilson. And discovered a dark truth about myself :pensive:
In the book there was an experiment mentioned in which you will try masturbating without thinking about ■■■■ and next time you will masturbate with your favourite ■■■■.
So I tried masturbating (edging to be precise) without thinking about ■■■■ , I just played a casual music playlist in the back ground. To my horror it was taking too much time . I tried hard but it wasn’t getting an erection.
Frustrated by this I took my phone and went to my fav site , still it wasn’t getting an erection. Then I open certain category that I used to watch than I achieved an erection. I closed the website and cleared the browser history. I didn’t fap. But I discovered that I am having an ED . It really sucks man. What have I done to myself.

Wow… Without this honest experiment, you wouldn’t have known so clearly. This major epiphany about yourself can now be the milestone on your way of clarity. Day 9 is where the brain slowly begins the actual rewirement. Don’t regret so much, precede and build your new best self!

It is good that you know now, but I say you should never look at porn again. It’s like a cocaine addict sitting at a table full of cocaine. Eventually the addiction will overtake you and you’ll end up relapsing. Even just looking at porn reinforces those pathways you’re trying to destroy. Just trying to help you, hope you don’t take it offensive like I’m being self-righteous or something; it’s literally just a bad idea to even peak. I’m glad to see you’re still going though. Keep pushing!

Not only me there are many man out there who are suffering from this yet they don’t know anything about it. At first I had doubts starting out this journey , now I am even more motivated to quit PMO once and for all. Time to change , time to move on.
