What is digital detox?
Digital detox refers to a period when a person refrains from using tech devices such as smartphones, televisions, computers, tablets, and social media sites.
Turn off notifications on all Social media apps.
Set a minimalistic home screen.
Uninstall unwanted apps and unsubscribe time-wasting channels on YouTube.
Put away your phone during meals.
Set a time limit to check all your pending emails, messages, etc.
This is a self-regulated challenge. So that you can add your points and make a friendly competition among the other participants.
If you complete a day with minimal tech uses, and you are satisfied with that, then you can count that day and add +2 points.
If you complete consecutive 7 days of streak, then +10 points will be added extra as a bonus, and you will get +10 points for every successful 7 days
If you lose a day 1 point will be deducted.
Entries Open. On February 25 our Challenge will end and will announce the winner.
Next Month’s Challenge will start on March 1
Count me in bro. My personal goal is to limit YouTube usage. I dont have an exact answer for how much hrs of Youtube usage is considered optimum.
If u can suggest me that I would be grateful.

Thank you so much. Due to some personal reasons, I was unable to get here.
I was also facing that issue and, now I am getting controlled on YouTube. Taking YouTube completely down is challenging and I suggest you to limit the usage by 1 hour or less.
Also, start today, if you can detox for the rest of the day then count today as day 1

Ok. Then my personal goal is like 1 hr of Youtube and 1hr Gaming. Total of 2hrs. If I exceed it , -1 point. Otherwise 2 points.

Yesterday only 30 minutes of gaming after I joined. So 2 Points to me.
Added myself in. I will start this challenge now but since it only counts if I do it all day long, I will check in tommorow.

Yesterday YouTube 1 hr and gaming 30 minutes. So 2 Points.
But I do want to restrict usage of this forum too. So my personal goal will be
YouTube + Gaming + Forum <= 2 hrs
Yesterday I spent less than an hour on my phone
Yesterday was Sunday and, I watched some movies and procrastinated on YouTube. So no points and 1 point is deducted.
Yesterday used a total of 3 hrs forum , games and YouTube combined. So - 1 for me
Yesterday 2hrs 30 minutes Social Media. So again -1. But today is better till now. So will probably get 2 points today.
Yesterday I badly used my mobile and 5hrs was my screen time. So -1
I am taking a dopamine detox for 7 days from today. And I have completed day 1. So +2 points from 3days
