Great idea. I dunno how itโ€™s going to pan out though. Because, it does take away the vigor of โ€œlast man standingโ€ tbh.

Can we make two categories? One where itโ€™s hard mode all the way. And the other as you suggested. With movement from the first group to second be allowed but not vice versa?

@prince_king @Binocular I have no right to say it but we can daily check in and count days guys. I will be with you for this challenge. 1 year is hard but it will be worth it.

The thing is no one can be so consistent to come daily for a complete fucking year. I guess the current rule made by @Binocular is best. But as for your point, we can keep a mandatory check-in for every week (which makes it 52 check-ins throughout the year).

The category you referred to is already within this challenge. If all days are clean then itโ€™s 365/365. If itโ€™s July 1st and your score is 180/365 everyone will know that you didnโ€™t relapse since the beginning of the year.

Youโ€™re right. We should create another title.
The old method never worked anyway.

As long as you remember the quantity of clean days youโ€™ve passed, you can also check in with your current streak. Like:

X/365 clean days
CS: Y days

Well the more frequent the better. I just allowed checking in after a long time so that those who have trouble finding free time can still be part of this challenge.

Your streak in this challenge yes. But as I said, you must check with that streak and you are allowed to also write the number of days in your counter, in other words, your usual streak.

@Binocular
Yesterday I seen the calender of โ€œ2024โ€, these time it will be leap year, it means 366 days.
Is there need of changing 365 to 366?

Yes there is. Good point :+1:

One more opportunity to go clean.

I would also want u to take into consideration few things
Dont u think that if a person relapse on a day
He knows that day is gone
Wont he do it more times on that day thinking its already gone?
How about we take two criteria

  1. No of days
  2. No of relapses

Please add me to this challenge

I guess no. of relapses is the best criteria. You can go 7 days clean and if you fap thrice on the 8th day, itโ€™s worse compared to going 6 days clean and relapsing 1 time each the next 2 days.

I would say both are important
Because one may relapse in controlled manner on individual days
And one may in one go both are wrong

True. Just that the controlled one doesnโ€™t feels much damage.

Hereโ€™s the new rule.

Relapse 1 = 0
Relapse 2 = -2
Relapse 3 = Relapse 2 ร— 2 = -4
Relapse 4 = Relapse 3 ร— 2 = -8
Relapse 5 = Relapse 4 ร— 2 = -16

And so onโ€ฆ

If my clean days streak was 67/365 yesterday but relapsed one time today it will still remain 67/365, it was just a slip. But if I do it again for the 2nd time it will be 65/365. And if I do it again for the 3rd time it will be 61/365 (yes itโ€™s the score after the 2nd relapse -4). And if I do it again and again it gets worse and worse.

Thanks for pointing this out. I will add this rule.

(If I need to be more strict like โ€œif you relapse 3 times in the same day youโ€™re outโ€ or with the score do let me know)
