This time is the last time I relapsed

I was paraphrasing, you were clearly saying that removing triggers won’t help, and you’re still saying it. This is counter to scientific evidence, removing triggers on average helps people stay away from things they like to avoid. I can dig up some studies for you later.

I’ve seen people with the idea that they should watch porn without M to “train their willpower”, this is an extreme version of your approach. The dichotomy here is do you wanna succeed by any means, or do you not? If you do, porn blockers make sense, period. It certainly won’t hurt. Willpower can be trained, but it will always be a limited resources.

WTF!!! there is been a huge misunderstanding, where have I said “removing triggers won’t help”??? And have I ever said or “paraphrase” watch porn to increase will power?? This is total bullshit.

Still I’m not explicitly saying porn blocker won’t help and I said was it’s just a START and it won’t help on the entire journey. CAN’T YOU GET IT???

Just read my post one after other and see what’s the real idea I’m trying to say from the beginning. If you still can’t able to understand. I’m sorry I can’t help brother.

@EvilMorty

Let go brother.

No need to get in arguments.
Peace.

You haven’t said the latter. I was saying that’s an idea that exists. Why exactly can’t it help on the entire journey? I don’t get it.

I hope you don’t think I’m being hostile. Because that’s not what I’m trying to do. It’s just that what can help against PMO seems like a valuable point of discussion in a forum like this to me, but perhaps I’m mistaken.

There is no such idea behind my words, I spoke the things that which is in my mind.

From my perspective, it can’t help in the long run because of our society, you can see that briefly on this post This time is the last time I relapsed

I’m 23 and I’ve been addicted to PMO for almost 12 years and I’m trying to get out of this habit for past couple of years, I’ve tried porn blocking and social media deactivation, it will help for few days but within span of days with someother medium, I went back to PMO. From last month I’ve started doing meditation and seaking my inner peace they are helping me. I’m currently on my 19th day (my highest is 20) and think I have somewhat controlled my mind and I don’t think I will relapse ever in the near future.

And It all happened because of controlling the mind.

You are saying your thoughts and I’m saying from what I learned from my past experience.

I’m sorry if I offend you, we all are here to change and finding better of ourselves. Let’s focus on that, all I want is to help everyone who are trying to get better of themselves other than that nothing. I’m not here to mislead anyone even if I did I don’t have any benefit on it. Hope you understand what I’m trying to say.

I don’t want to post another message in this thread.

Peace out :v:

Whether you use software or mind to block your triggers. When you’re truly regretting for the relapse your mind will be 99% in your control. Only during that 1% you’re fond of relapsing again. So software to block your triggers works in that 1% period.

Everyone gives their opinion, ultimately it is you who picks the best advice as per your perspective. If you’re truly regretting then you’re already 99% done. Just manage the rest.

Go through the video it will genuinely help all ■■■■ addicts.

You are correct I have started meditation too but blocking sites also helps for an extent

Right, but that there will always be triggers isn’t a valid cause to not avoid unneccessary ones. To go back to an analogy. There is always a reason to delay studies and ultimately its up to you, but setting a time and shutting down your phone is still a great help.
I do meditation too, so my perspective is not the opposite of yours.

Same, bro. I understand arguments (I don’t mean as in a fight, but as in a point of disagreement) can be draining, so I’m sorry for that. I’m glad we can keep it civil.:+1:

But brother my chrome is showing results to the sites and even after doing all these settings. Please help🙏

Hey bro,
From the day I felt the actual guilt, I searched for many porn blocker but couldn’t find any true solution as all of them are simply doing nothing in incognito mode and most of them are paid( I want the true free one),
Also please think that PMO is an addiction, so why people make a free porn blocker that can bypass incognito mode for free, why man??

I request any of you to suggest anyreliable blocker out of your knowledge.

A nofapper will only understand another Nofapper, so I think I’m gonna make one such software for both android and computer.

@rajvXveer The SafeDNS will work. Maybe DNS needs to be refreshed.

Go to command prompt. Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter. That should do it.

@avenger_ds please check out my post, which is a little above yours.
