MATCH RESULT: NARUTO WINS
ITACHI UCHIHA VS NARUTO UZUMAKI
ITACHI BIDS FAREWELL
The whole lot of participants were stunned as Itachi (@sugrillos ) was taken down with Naruto’s Rassengan. It was however very strange. In the beginning, Itachi did try to defend himself but then he just stood there and let Naruto hit him with his attack. Eyes became watery as Itachi bade goodbye to everyone. Blood was all over his body. His face, his lips, his clothes all blood-soaked and his style still rebellious. It appeared as if Itachi did not want to fight the battle but had to fight it still and lose it.
Everyone stood up and crowded at the door through which Itachi was to pass. He refused to go on a stretcher. The Jonins looked to the floor, the Genins sat on their knees to give this legendary warrior a fitting farewell. His long hair swayed with the wind that they caught between the strands.
But disaster was hovering over Madara’s face (@kazim.09 ). Memories of a lifetime came back to him. His wish of facing Itachi one day, just to look how strong his Sharingan had become. No longer will the two appear together. No longer will they remain together. It was only this exam which had given him a chance to stand alongside him.
Every step that Itachi took to get out of the hall, echoed the wind chambers. The birds on the roof of the tower stopped chirping and when he had moved out of the hall, for many seconds nobody moved.
Itachi looked at the sky and then back at the door of the tournament hall, and then just as if he knew where to go and for what he had sacrificed his victory he went west to the Central Tower, out of the Forest of Death and out of the Leaf Village, to some place unknown to human knowledge but dearer to him than his life.
It will remain forever a memory. And the historian of this event will register it under the heading of a Mysterious Defeat.
