Glad to see you back in form Skipper. Though we lost this one, we will perhaps win the next, and then the next, and then the Series. :+1:

Will our team members be same?

I guess yes. Don’t see anyone leaving the team. They have all updated. At least once in the match.

Glad to hear that
Sorry for my poor performances

But yes if there is inequality in teams, then we will Equalize it. Either by sending players across or bringing in new replacements. I guess Australia has many inactive players.

COMMENTARY

Broad balls it short, and bangs it on the deck but it has been hooked by Hayden for a Six over Deep Mid-wicket and the man there has no chance! Australia wraps this up and Hayden finishes off in style. The Australian side rush to the ground and that huge man stands smiling, the man who came as a saviour for Australia and a nightmare for England, Matthew Hayden.

To summarize this match it would be to say that sometimes a player becomes larger than the team. Well, Hayden @TheWinningSpirit is definitely large enough for his team but the way he cooperated both with Bat and the Ball was really outstanding. Without his presence and phenomenal performance, Australia would have had a hard time winning this match. The most likely result was predicted to be a draw but it is Australia’s victory and that too comes in a very dominant fashion. In the course of the match on the last day, Ricky Ponting @vincitquisevincit and Marnus Labuschagne @The_Rising_One also attained their respective Fifties.

The match must be seen from the first day onwards, when Joe Root, Ian Bell and Kevin Pietersen did add some runs but the wickets kept tumbling as the day progressed and they had to yield the pitch to Australia at a lowish total of 227. It would still be enough for a draw if the bowling lineup had some flare power like Pat Cummins @surname, Camron Green @cloudstrike and Matthew Hayden @TheWinningSpirit. Only Stuart Broad @wool, Chris Woakes @Nova7 and Ben Stokes @DarkDLeo could bowl more than 20 dot balls in a day and only Andrew Flintoff @Letsputanendtothis could disturb some stumps.

On the whole, while the Australians looked like a fire-spewing dragon, the English were much more like foot soldiers. This ordinary display will not get them very far and I guess there will be discussion in the dressing room over these issues. The English side does have potential but whether can they convert it into a victory will remain a question to be answered considering mammoth players like Matthew Hayden and an able captain, Josh Hazlewood @piyushchandak are leading the team.

With this, we bid farewell to Edgbaston, as the sun sets and the reddish glow over Birmingham steals the show join us for the final Valedictory session which will announce the Man of the Match, which we know pretty well but still we must witness it.
