Seeking Australians Addicted to Porn

Hi all,

I am an Australian provisional psychologist completing a Masters in Applied Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. I’m currently conducting research about pornography addiction and hoping to interview Australians who are or have been addicted to pornography about their experiences. I am hoping to capture the voices of those impacted by this to inform psychological research about the topic.

Please check out my flyer at the link below and email [email protected] if you have any questions or interest in participating.

Interviews are being conducted on Zoom, the phone or other virtual platforms which may suit you best. If you are based in Melbourne and would prefer to meet in person, I can arrange a quiet place local to you such as a meeting room in a library.

I have received approval to conduct this research from VU’s ethics committee, so my project has been assessed as meeting the requirements of the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) ‘National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007)’.

Thanks for your consideration!

Hi all,

I’m about half way through conducting interviews for this research project. It has been amazing speaking to men and women alike about their experiences and views on PA. I’m hoping to wrap up my interviews by the end of December, so if you have been considering getting involved, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.

Cheers.
