Porn enforces irrational thinking

People who look at opposite gender (referring to straight/bisexual people) or same gender (referring to gay people) as sexual objects. You should know this. You were not born to look at others through the lens of sex only. You were born to connect with people in your environment because you need support and protection from others for your survival, yes self reliance is virtuous, but still you’ll need to trade with others for your own well being, so your brain is more naturally wired to seek Support, Protection and Trade with others, whether social or business. Now what porn does is, it enforces irrational thinking. Straight Porn teaches you to look at women sexually and Gay porn teaches you to look at men sexually, like women and men are some sex commodities, which in reality, is totally irrational, totally against facts of reality and against laws of nature. Human beings are human beings, they cannot be molded and packaged into sex commodity boxes. Therefore, the suffering comes from the results of thinking irrationally, enforced and mandated by porn. And mind you, “time” and “attention” are spiritual currencies in your life, so wherever you pay your “attention” and spend your “time”, you will get results (whether rational or irrational results in return), porn gives you a negative return. So think about this. Even when you leave porn, you are still paying interest on the losses you’ve incurred, so it’s like double tax on your own shoulder, you have to pay yourself, because you are living inside your body. Because to rewire your brain, it takes time, it goes through withdrawal symptoms and then it goes through a difficult phase to readjust, but that too 100% cure is not guaranteed for a very long time, so don’t ever think it’s gonna be quick as rocket. Your brain is readjusting, re-evaluating, growing out of porn phase. You can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.

People who are suffering from porn addiction, you’ll have to do a lot of homework and make an effort. You should be clear with the “why” you need to get rid of porn addiction. If “why” isn’t clear, you won’t have any purpose for this motivation. Take advantage of books for seeking knowledge & therapists for mental support, capitalize on them and move on.

I really like your way of thinking. It deconstructs a bit of what goes on with the porn wired brain. It is strange, for me porn has definitely made me sexualise all women and value their sexual attractiveness over most other qualities in the initial phase of interaction. But what I believe porn has done aswell to some extent is made it so I think they are hot but I feel like I am not embodying my sexual energy. It is a conceptual experience instead of a physical one like it used to be.

I believe this may be another side effect or “interest” taken out from porn. It slowly turns sexual arousal into a conceptual, disconnected experience in your life.

We need to learn to work with other people, be nice and share our feelings and share our posessions because capitalism tells us to do the opposite and encourages individualism, always look out for number 1, but this is not where true hapiness and peace is. I agree, humans are hardwired to form a community together big or small!

Well, keeping capitalism aside for a moment. Let’s just say, people are free to share their debit card pin, credit card pin, savings & insurance policy possessions with their neighbors and with the whole global online community if he desires and chooses to do so, he is totally free to do it, nobody is stopping someone from sharing anything, people are quite happy to take it from the giver. But govt cannot force nor mandate everyone else to forcefully share their possessions because of property rights concern. Private charity and sharing is a wonderful concept, yes, but if done through force & govt power, then it goes against human rights, property rights and becomes legalized loot by the same authority that we have given our trust to. This discourages business community to invest and they will go elsewhere and so would the jobs leave too with those producers. But having said that, today if you wish to share your bank account details, card pin and savings with people, then you are free to do so.
