Taking responsibility vs not taking responsibility
A. When you take responsibility for your actions, you learn something from it
B. When you pin the blame on other things for your actions, you never learn, you keep making the same mistakes over again

Pain is temporary and usually goes away by itself, but when you relapse you are only creating more pain for yourself and prolonging that pain. The best way to end the pain is to learn not to relapse.
