Thank you brother @nofapstar123. I have tried meditation and thinking about other things and thankfully it did help a little. Now I will try to think more or visualize about my dreams and goals instead. I cannot go back to Day Zero again. I know how painful it is and how it will destroy my life if I don’t take this seriously. Let’s keep supporting each other and succeed!

Brother @Alastair if urges come I’ll suggest what I do:
I’ll just stay Mindful. Look closely, what the urge is doing to you, your body, mind? From where is it coming. Where is it going. Take deep breaths. Clam yourself down. Listen to soft songs and breath slowly. Trust me it’ll pass. If nothing works out get out of your home and run. Run till you fall out of breath or do workout. This has always worked for me.

What @Tagore said is correct. Your body works on feedback and experiences. If you mindfully give a negative feedback to your body for a particular soemthing it will be registered as bad for you. So when urges comes give your body tough times. For people out there who have a fixed goal and a burning desire to achieve it. I would suggest kill this addiction with your goal. Like now when I get an urge I get on my desk and start studying, no matter it’s during the day or 3 of night I study till the urge disappears. Then I pray to god, breath a while and meditate if possible

Tbh, I’ve just returned home and laid on my bed, I was thinking about it again…
But thankfully, I forced myself to go back to this forum. It is really helpful to have accountability, before I even joined the forums, I felt all alone. But now, I cannot let down you guys’s hopes. We will all go through this together!!
Now I will have a quick cold shower and start working again, I have to counter my urges and thoughts with goals

Bro I think if every parent talk to there child about sex education and explain the benefits of semen.
And also to not view men/women as an object for satisfaction but as a contributor in nature, so the child will be aware not to watch bad things as he/she knews the reality and if anyone don’t watch it then this industries automatically ban & shut , I personally thinks that if someone guided me earlier with this reality, it’s my opinion may be I’m wrong.

I hope it is. It destroys many lives even young people, most of the people here that I see suffered from this addiction at such an early age including me. Childhood was supposed to be filled with good memories but it was destroyed by porn industries. I don’t even know why they say it’s “normal” or “healthy”.

Yes, I don’t think the porn hub will shut down soon but we can bring more people into our community and help them. I totally agree with what brother @kakka had said.
Sex education and harmful effects of porn should be thought in school like they teach about cocaine and drugs.
In my school and home if I smoke a cigarette or do drugs it was a real sin brothers, trust me, I never went to the side where people smoke. Like that we should talk openly about porn. Ads should be shown in theatres, TVs, movies everywhere.
There should be ads saying.

Fortunately I am trying to grow out of my comfort zone, usually after college, I would play video games and stuff but now I’ve been going to the library and read books that is beneficial and essential to improve my academics. If I was still on PMO, I don’t think I would’ve done all that and waste time on PMO. I’m feeling amazing now
