@Busyman if he wants to change, he actually can. See even identical twins have different sexualities and there is no proof or scientific research/evidence (even though studies have been conducted) that sexualities arises from anything other than ideology. PMO increases gay tendencies so that would be the first step if he wants to change.

Bro, whether a person is gay, bisexual or straight, PMO is harmful for him irrespective of his sexuality. So, your friend should try to overcome this addiction anyways. There can be no excuse for him to do PMO just because he is homosexual.
As for his sexuality, I’ll tell you something, he is bisexual who is more attracted to guys. Such people with disproportional attraction ultimately turn completely homosexual or heterosexual depending on who attracts them more at young age. Examples of Ricky Martin, Darren Hayes etc… are out there. However he will have to understand that sexual orientation of a person is not his choice, its not a mental illness. Its a situation. He can seek for medical help, but that won’t change his orientation, what he should seek medical help for is mental toughness to make his brain impervious of the satires of society and be somebody of his own first. Homosexual relationships are legal in India, but there is still no acceptance for such relationships here. Whether homosexuals can marry or not is still a question, however last year, Supreme Court, in a case said that there is no separate law required for homosexual marriages and they can marry under the same provisions. However its tough, since laws clearly define marriage as a union between people of opposite sexes. So, if he can be fine without marriage he can go through it all in India. However, if he can, I feel he should work hard, be someone and then leave this country with his partner to some place where homosexuals are more openly accepted and homosexual marriages are allowed. And I am sorry, but sexual orientation is a mental state , not a mental disease.

You mentioned your friend doesnt really want to be gay. I will say that (this is anecdotal evidence) but when you “release” your vital fluid (sperm) you lose many minerals and you need to recuperate your testosterone levels. You basically become a “beta male” when you’re fapping because you lose your sex drive. I suggest that he tries NoFap. If he can make it to 90 days without ejaculation!!! He will be much much better.

Here when I read the history I can understand that his availability make him gay, I mean every man is sexualy active after his puberty, here he got a guy (less risk) for doing sex, so he chose them.
Pls advise him to stop watching gay porn, and do a 90days No Fap challenge (hard mode).
Then we can see.
Also marriage with a girl,which he is attracted will also heal this problem, bcs sex with them will somehow fulfill his needs and he never get back to search a guy for doing sex…

But I dont know how to convey this to him. It’s better not to his by myself. I just guided him to goto doctor. But I also heard many cases of gay persons married to women and living happily with the help of medications. He is also attracted to some girls, so I also said him to look for better partner whom to more feel attractive too. Foreign idea is good, but he have a huge family, just for sake of sexual pleasure, I dont thing he do that.
