  • i have been trying nofap from 3yrs.
  • once I had some clean days around a month.
  • What is the problem you need help with?
    I need help to quit this PMO addiction and I need one supportive companion as I am a regular fapper.
    Which makes me weak physically and mentally.

Guarding yourself of triggers is essential for get away from Pmo addiction and not just for 90 days, but for the rest of your life, for this the following measures must be adopted:


At least 50 percent of falls I hear in social media come from instagram
even if the person doesn’t follow any instagram model, Instagram puts them without you asking for these models on your screen, it happened to me on social networks and I know it must have happened to you too

Beware of netflix, opt for other streaming services that have fewer triggers, netflix is ​​champion in triggers!
By the way , I recommend you exclude netflix and anothers movies and series with heavy triggers forever

Watch out for some news sites, know where you step, yes have serious sites of news without triggers

And on the street don’t look at women who are dressed provocatively, as this will lead you to fall hours later (as it enters your mind through your eyes and your brain will use it against you later), look away you don’t have to look for none of these triggers

You don’t need Netflix to live , have others streamings with less triggers , Netflix have to much triggers , what is more importante Your LIFE , Your PROGRESS or netflix?

Blockers are fences against involuntary triggers, it must bea obrigation in our lives forever, we have a addiction remember that , and to live in peace we have to do fences

Have others streamings with less triggers, these others streamings is not 100 percent without triggers , but is leds than Netflix , The problem of Netflix is Very much triggers in propagandas of movies and séries , I Delet Netflix FROM my life have years because that , I use Amazon prime have less triggers than Netflix , and sure depends what kind of movies and séries you watch too , for that I always say guardyoureyes guys always

Most valuable points, but some stuff I agree 100% on which is the basic and obvious ones like leaving netflix and dirty WhatsApp groups and having goals in mind.

Actually in point there is like 5 stuff actually as some stuff point to the same thing avoiding triggers and avert eyes. Cold showers I don’t believe in either in fact it makes me horney as hel weird, but probably due to the cold and adrenaline probably makes me react this way.

The thing is actually staying away and learning what helps best for each person is quite hard as we all have a breaking point.

This is what makes this journey so unique as you rediscover yourself and also know your limits.
what you do when you feel the urge and how you feel durning it.

I have learned this in an international relapse recently. I haven’t been as productive and a super human in nofap achieving every desire or win each challenge. ( I know it sounds like being a loser and me being one). Well no I did what I could achieve and want to achieve and also when possible not overstressed myself to do stuff i simply cannot make time for it during an unexpected day. I tried and got tired of it and also somewhat this forum is a good motivation to boost your ass in doing stuff, but somewere we feel judged as we don’t live the nofap lifestyle we are supposed to.

Like workout, take a cold shower, study stay busy with a hobby. They are only suggestions and good ones too as it improves your life. I also mentioned this like 1000 times to others. But you’ll forget to do 30 push-ups or read or play games and rather fap and watch porn as it is easier.

This what I also experience the urges man I had small ones easy ones, but in my 1 journey it was though like now. I just wanna go. It is easy to let go yet a few days ago hard to let go of the streak.

The thing is when you feel the urge , what do you do then? Panic? Or constantly think about it?

How about to touch and maybe thinking should I or shouldn’t I? Just a peek? Mm what does your head tell you?

You give yourself too much room to think about it and say it is too hard to fight back. Like you have to 30 push-ups but do 25 as it becomes to hard?

Not to break you down or anything, but I want you to open your eyes to what your thoughts do to you also that you can do more.

I bet you you haven’t tried doing anything you enjoy rather than to fap or came up with your own solution? Mmm

I will tell you this 3 days ago I relapsed. Strong at a 138 day streak I gave up ( glad I did) as mentioned in a challenge I created. You know what the following day me strong on nofap was scared to go into a shower. I wonderd what if I relapse again. I honestly talked myself in into taking a shower while I was super horney.

How did I get out?

Well easy I sang my favorite songs. It was fun and it changed the whole scene I felt so good in the shower I wasn’t the same guy a minute ago who was scared of an urge man. To afraid to get in the shower man.

My whole environment changed and I didn’t even felt the urge didn’t even notice or thought about it.

The most important thing here is to understand how to control your thoughts is key. Things you like makes it a whole lot easier to think of it rather to fap. Why? Because of the FUN and also the good experience you get out of it and it draws all of your attention. Plus in this example it changed my mood and enviroment(situation)

All of this is the true key. Don’t waste time on following what you think is best to follow or do. Do what’s good for you! Also have fun out of it.

If you read closely I gave even more tips in my explanation of why.

  • Change your thoughts, your mood and enviroment when horney or the urge hits. These are bonus.

Also if you gave a deeper read in the beginning I metioned touching and peeking. Avoid them too when horney.

The other thing is be aware in your environments and focus on what you do and how you are doing it. E.g. on your phone? Have some apps you should’ve deleted. Some worth deleting like instagram. But you don’t have to, Wait what now?

Sounds confusing yeah I know, but Instagram will feed you what you watch often easy. So here you have control. Watching pics you shouldn’t well you’ll get them. But if you Reassign your apps you can make them work for you.

Wait🤯, how to do this??? Well if you stay focused on what each app must do for you it will become habit and you’ll google for porn less.

It is hard, yes and super risky, but if you stick to the plan at first then it will become much easier.

Say with Insta for example what does it do for me?

Easy I follow my sport’s (mainly soccer) on insta European , laliga and German football(also mainly) big german fan. But besides the point and also it is very sport oriantated too as some of the YouTubers the workouts I like I have on Insta since they are more likely to share more tips and I get to chat with them. And yeah all guys ( sounds gay , but alot of guys do follow them) as it is a good influnce to to gym and also I get to skip out on getting triggerd should it be a girl. Obviously. Youtube my 2nd best entertainment as i use it to workout with guys like Fraser wilson , Jordan Yeoh and Chris Herea( hope this is right spelling. So I have a variety of couches and a lot of variety workouts. Which is awesome and for free and most don’t even require any gym or workouts.

Also tutorials, how stuff is made and how stuff works are also some of the stuff I like to watch and also have a lot less to do with sex or porn too.

My number 1 entertainment is Spotify. This is what safed my new streak. Without it I would never knew my songs as well to sing in the shower and also is helping me learning german as I listen to a lot of german songs ( Rammstein mostly :heart_eyes:) favorite band. And I use it for german podcast too. See more stuff I like and what I interested in.

Adapt your own nofap style and also bust out those move to celbrate wins over urges and streaks as this will motivate you even more to stay on nofap and also :

This is much more fun to follow than to read Romeo and Juliet on your bookshelf as it is the “only readable book on the shelf” or kinda every book feels as senseless to read.

But ofcourse here is one thing you have to know is it takes EFFORT to do these stuff and you have to learn how to keep it up. Of course with fun stuff like your favourite song you sing along instantly with out thinking about it or tap or dance to the beat.

What I am trying to say is make your journey like you tap or dance to your favourite song. To be simple and easy and enjoyable even if it does take effort to tap with the song sometimes if the mood isn’t right. But that’s just a bit of hardships and they’ll fade away.

I don’t even want to see sitcoms and series. What value do they add to life? Sure, some of them are very nice , inspiring, creative works of art. I use them strictly as rewards.

Also, don’t go streaming on NetFlix or platforms guys. If I want to watch stuff, I deliberately torrent them with zero shame. Netflix is designed to keep people enslaved and bingeing. I refuse to give them any money.:joy: Just decide exactly what you want to watch beforehand, download exactly what you want to watch (one episode of whatever it is per day) and watch only that. Don’t get any subscription. Any monthly subscription service is designed to actually put a dent in your finances long term, and makes insane profits for the provider, even if it sounds so cheap at face value when you hear it.

Now I will tell you guys about my last relapse which usually happens
In the afternoon around 1300hrs I was having casual conversation with colleagues, but after few mins they started conversation on my weaknesses and it made me angry… And that anger makes me crazy. That thought was going around and around in my head. So, I thought after few hours that I should take the shower.
When I was naked to I was super horny. And to let that thought out of my mind I just fapped without any media or any phone.
So, after that relapse I feel very low on energy and when I went out for a walk in evening I was heavily breathing like I already tired before I started.
And after that that night when I am alone. Again urges came, it seems irresistible. And I give in.

One thing I understood that I should put the blocker for Pmo content on mobile.(btw I don’t have any other way to watch…)
Do you think meditation helps to cool down my anger?

Sure, meditation will help with this too or praying what every you fancy between either.

The best things to have is a stress ball and a punching bag.

Why I mentioned a stress ball is it is compact and can go any where and if you are angry you can throw it hard against the wall. Sure a tennis ball might work for this too. But in times you can’t throw it or don’t want to you can squeeze the living shit out of it and that squeeze tention helps to release your anger.

The punching bag. Well something you can hit and kick and scream at. And this is the best release of your anger.
