Remember the ideas in atomic habits,

never break the chain.

I firmly believe that fasting can accumulate those energy stucked in the genitals. But I have no proof so sorry.

Of course, fasting is a key element when it comes to inner transmutation. Doing pranayama on an empty stomach is also much more effective.
