Hello everyone, Iā€™m checking in my day 16 today :white_check_mark:, this is really wonderful, Iā€™m still not fighting anything cuz I feel just fine, so much better. Being in vicious porn cycle doesnā€™t feel good even a bit, I dont enjoy porn and I plan to stay away from it. Remember,it just takes one oeak to go back! Iā€™m staying away from that peak!!

It feels great to finally reach 18 days.
But for me The biggest challenge is to cross 19 days. I have failed at 19 days before and I do want to fail again.

@BobDeen , @Sadus13, thank you both for the answer. I might give it a try then. So far I didnā€™t felt the need for it, but as I see, it is not only for nofap reasons to do cold showers. I might as well google up the scientific reasons behind it. I was just curious why people prefer it.

@GuruFTW The routine varies from person to person. in my case, I am having a full time job where I need to work for 8 hours. So most of the time I spent there. Apart from that, when I find time I engage myself for developing applications which helps my professor while teaching and few friends who are doing research work. Morning I usually wake at 7 am and do meditation for one hour. Before 12 O clock, I try to sleep :slight_smile:

Nice bro youā€™re doing great, and I think itā€™s very easy for you because you have a job of 8 hours. You also doing 1 hour Meditation thatā€™s very very good bro that will boost your recovery.

But in my case Iā€™m just graduated and I donā€™t have anything to do now and Iā€™ve been trying to quit this addiction for a long time, so I just decided that no matter what I will fully concentrate on nofap and acquire as much knowledge as I can and also I made a plan which Iā€™m following quite well since day 1.

So I was wondering what you all guys do in your day to day life.

Are you sure? you have no plans to do after graduation :slightly_smiling_face:? Certainly, I understand now due to pandemic itā€™s difficult to get engaged in something but again. I think you need to find something which will help you in moving your career development and growth. Soon or later youā€™ll run out of time and money, that time other things take priority. so best time is now and prioritise the things which values you the most. no fap is just a part of your journey which will help you to take wise decisions in life.But at the end, you and your choices in life matters the most. Go ahead and take small steps towards your goals.

No bro I mean right now I donā€™t have anything to do but I have my future goals and I already cleared exam of my goal just need funds and my confidence and everything back in my life Im good to go.
So nofap is really important for me now, because Iā€™ve experienced what nofap has, when Iā€™m on my highest streak of 46 days.

@Keats, at this point, does it matter if I start a habitstreak? Since we are in the second phase. I start the habit anyway, but not sure to add it or not.
I already have a few habit developed, like I started calorie counting for more than a year now, and started exercising 5-6 times a week. But I started them before this challenge so I wouldnā€™t wanted to count them in.

Now I start 15 minute meditation/pray daily from today. What is your suggestion, should I add it?

Do not be afraid of relapsing on the 19th day. Its nothing more than just a mental block. Treat tomorrow as just another day and youā€™ll be through it in no time. All the best :v::v:

Man I hate cold showers

Iā€™d rather meditate, with asanas to break an urge or do something that requiresy concentration

It is a mental war that all men have to fight, pmo addicts and everyone other man as well

Only PMO addicts have it 10x harder since they are aware of a quick getawayā€¦

Itā€™s an evolutionary draw back/advantage which was not designed to work in the mordern worldā€¦

@Duran, I say go for it.

Iā€™ve always thought of the habit challenge as something to give us an extra push when weā€™re trying to start a new habit and maybe having some trouble with it.

So, not every habit needs to be logged here, just the ones you want extra accountability with.

My idea was always, once you feel the habit is solid (like 28+ days in a row) you can change to another one if you like so weā€™re always improving.
