Iād like to bring a question to discuss.
I think we all can agree that porn is mostly considered as a visual drug. An addiction that binds us through our eyes, since our eyes are tempted the most. One look and we can be doomed. This is why we mostly avoid and turn away from visual temptations. So we restrict our pc time, phone time etc.
My question is, how do you brothers handle your other senses? I mostly think about our hearing. I noticed that a lot of thing can be tempting through our ears. The sweet voice of a woman in many ways can be a thing that awakens our desires. Or for example asmr is a trend for a while now. Iām not a fan of it, but I checked it and it goes especially for temptation even if you only listening it. Sometimes simple noises can bring back old memories that can lead you to old habitsā¦
So I think it is common sense in our case that we should be cautious about what we listen as well. Do you have a rule that you follow in this matter? Any trick up your sleeves?
