Is it possible to make a full recovery from porn addiction?

I’ve been thinking about it recently. Do you think that it is possible to make a full recovery from porn addiction? Will we ever be like a guy who has never watched a porn movie?

I’m on a 394 days streak. A lot has improved in my life since quitting this addiction. I rarely think of porn scenes but I do recall them from time to time. I do not have urges to watch it, but at the same time I have not forgotten that it exists.

What do you guys think?

It is possible, but let me tell you something ,you see it’s a well known fact that porn is not at all harmful…(maybe when you do it a lot?)…but generally it just can cause tiredness.
Now there are people who drink alcohol…tho they are not alcohol addict, they may drink a lot sometimes and sometimes don’t brink at all… it’s the same with porn addiction, simple as that. You can take porn out of your life or just make a commitment of not doing it for a while…like set time when you will fap… slowly increase time period…and once it’ll reach a month…then a year. But as I said people won’t do that(some can)…they will just fap in between and it’s okay…just do it in longer periods of time…then you are not addict.

True, but if someone used to be an alcohol addict and even after 5-10 years drink alcohol for the first time after this long period, it can be very dangerous that addiction can come back.

I’ve heard that if you used to be an addict to porn or whatever else, then it’ll be easier for you to come into other addictions in the future.

For most of people on this forum porn was huge part of their lives, they are usually addicted for many years. You can’t just erase years of your life. As you’ll never forget your childhood friend, similar is with porn you’ll never forget.

Don’t live life full of memories of dark part of life. Enjoy the freedom!
