I’ll share my journey at the end.
In simple words, we need to distract our mind to do other activity, by doing daily or frequently PMO would have become part of our day to day activity or like a habit. I would suggest to find a new hobby like reading a book, doing exercises.
The thing is everything is in your mind once you become master of it you can achieve unimaginable things. All the best

Yeah. Wish we could eliminate that part of brain which is responsible for PMO.
If you would eliminate the reward system in your brain, you would do literally nothing. There would be no reason to. It would be like having severe depression, but to an extreme of 100%. Your reward system is the driving force in your life.
Because of all the triggers that are built into our society, our reward system gets messed up. We must show discipline and control our own reward system, in order to use it productively. How it was meant to be used.
We mustn’t elimite it, we must instead retrain it. To its natural state.
Only Awareness is needed.
Brain is a good tool for a Great Master.
