I cant stop watching porn for even one day

I am really worried now I cant stop watching porn for even one day. I never been in this kinda situation before i always thought I can control but everything is going out of hand please guys help with your suggestion and prays I really wanna be free again.

The mechanism is simple. Watching porn is one of your bad habits and its one of the toughest addictions to beat, but the positive news are that its possible. On the beginning you try to adjust your mind to completely new situation whats breaking the habit. It literally gets crazy at the point of forcing you to fullfill its needs, but you have fight to back, you have to distract it. Here are couple prevention tools, which might work for you:

  • take a walk outside
  • go for a running
  • do pushups as many as you can
  • do jumping jacks as many as you can
  • do situps as many as you can
  • take a cold shower
  • make an eye contact with yourself in the mirror and ask yourself: “Do I really need? I will feel like shit afterwards, so I why should I want it?”
  • play music
  • Sit in comfortable position take a deep breath and then slowly breath out like you were blowing a big ballon, try to relax, feel where your breath goes (is it your chest? lungs? stomach?). Repeat at least 10 times and focus on your calm breathing.

First days up to 4th are the hardest, so try to be focused don’t trigger or feed your urges. Dont make up fantasies, peek, browse triggering content.

Don’t worry my friend, I’m sure a lot of people have felt like they’ve been to hell and back, I know I certainly have.
Remember, this is not a competition.
Concentrate on getting through today, with the same constant reminder, without question.

I’ve been in a dark place very recently, but lucky to have distractions, sing in the choir, reading Jordan Peterson, some exercises, early nights, avoiding the Internet, and early mornings.

Nights can be dangerous as can getting up too early with no plans - take note, and avoid falling into those same trappings.
My faults are those, and talking too much, having too many ideas - so, I too have to be careful right now :+1:

Go offline for a bit is always helpful. I think a lot of us are more addicted to the web and old patterns. Enjoy something different.

Blocking dosent help me I always find a way to break into but without blocking I feel much more in control.

You start by embodying the peraon who doesn’t value porn. Unconsciously you still do. Over time, you will find less excuses to go back. Over time, you will see that PMO is nothing more than garbage

Garbage is right. I 100% agree with this guy @Wannabeliberated

It’s not some overwhelming ‘addiction.’ (Contrary to what 90% of the posts on the message board imply).
Its sexual junk food for the brain; don’t eat it.
-make it difficult to consume: use the blockers, get an accountability partner who gets notified whenever you watch, etc. Just make it a pain in the ass to view.

Also, if you feel yourself on the brink of caving into viewing it, comment on what you’re doing out loud.
As in, literally say “I have an urge. I feel like I am about to watch porn. I know this action will lead to a relapse, and set myself back, even though I already decided I would not do this. With this viewing, i am throwing away a (example) 5day streak…”
Or something to that effect.

Idk man, there’s something about hearing yourself speak about your impending relapse that really kills the urge. It’s works. At the very least, it slows you down to where you can think rationally again and implement a different response.

My 2cents.
