Hi. All I relapsed after 22 days but not accidently. I wanted to. And now I have put NoFap for a pause. And taken a “,Healthy Masturbation” challenge where I allow myself to masturbate (without porn/ fantasy) once a week. The goal is to eliminate the “shame” associated with my sexual desires. I think the sexual urges are normal and must be respected. I appreciate the NoFap challenge and I will continue with it next month again. But I don’t want to stay away from Masturbation just because I am ashamed of it. I felt like I was just running away from it. I hope to appreciate sexual urges as natural and not consider them as evil. And then go on longer NoFap streaks knowing that it can make me great.

But this experiment is just to eliminate the “shame” associated with natural human sexual behaviours.

NOTE : Porn and fantasizing are still bad and should be avoided.
NOTE : That does not change the fact that long periods of retention can make you great.

P.S. : Reading my message after more than a year. I was an idiot and it was my addict brain messing with me. I am still hooked because of these mental tricks by my mind. Luckily I have journaled everything so I can go ahead and read my stupidity.

And just for your information there is no such thing as healthy masturbation. You’re destroying yourself.

Such posts can trigger someone to the wrong direction. We all are here to quit PMO strictly.

I also agree to @comingclean @neo_150 @strongwillpower as these type of statments trigger your urges and you go for a relapse…I myself when was on 14th day of my nofap journey (I hadn’t installed this app at that time) I heard from somewhere on YouTube that masturbation is not a bad thing if it is practiced in a controlled manner and due to that my mind convinced me that"Ya there is no problem in masturbating as it is a natural thing" and due to this I did it but as I have put myself again in that trap my urges become strong and I relapsed twice on the same day and then I installed this app…so in my opinion these are the excuses that our mind suggest us when we are on a long streak but these are only a game which our mind plays with us and we have to beat this game.

As masturbation is only a bad practice as it causes loss of many vital nutrients so in my opinion there is no such thing like healthy masturbation…but if you are strongly addicted to masturbation and your frequency is very high then you can reduce it my masturbating once or twice in a week but I will still suggest that you should just stop these urges yourself by doing meditation and exercise and keeping yourself busy because as soon as you quit this addiction as much you will get the benefits.:blush::blush:

First of all, I can not support this. I’m not in favor on any instant gratification in any form. Giving yourself to pleasure makes you a low value man.

Secondly, I’m trying to overcome PM in all its forms. I do not think masturbation is healthy and do not support any sexologist who sais it is.

First of all don’t call me sir bro I am also of your age and in this topic I’m not much mature I have also started practicing this nofap and it is my first time I reached at 14 th day you should consult some elder ones and more experienced one…masturbation causes social anxiety it’s true and the level of anxiety depends on your addiction level how much time you spend on p*rn and masturbation. To avoid this problem when ever you feel lonely talk to someone. As masturbation reduces your confidence due to this you feel anxiety. But when you follow nofap your confidence level will boost up and you will feel yourself that you are able to talk anyone very smoothly and also give you confidence to maintain a conversation. Really it has many benefits.
