I wish I could be addicted to this app as I was before, but it cost me a lot
Check in: day 1 my next goal is at least 3 days. I have been like a month without achieving it
I think the best is to ignore it, and focus entirely on another activity that you like so much, that it helps you to forget the urgues
Fri / Sat
@Forodwaith @Gk-00
Thanks be to God
Glad to see you @srubio
I agree, other activities divert one’s attention onto other things. It’s actually very easy to not-flap, when you just get on with life, and don’t flap about if you do fap out.
Fundamentally we need to realise we are not giving something up, because we are not depriving ourselves of anything good.
Absolutely true brother!
@srubio Welcome back man

I was really frustrated today after yet another fail last night but I produced 2 videos using video software on the phone as an experiment.
Inshot and Power director on the subject of nofap. Ok they are sideshows with a music track attached but I’m quite happy with the result although would be good to get rid of the watermark/logo…
See what you think
I’ve been away for a bit and not checking in.
I’m on day nine, so I made it past a week, yay!
Last Friday I was struggling almost all day and pushing the envelop with really unhelpful things. In the end, I didn’t act out or look at p so I didn’t reset but if I engage in that kind of chat online again I will reset.
Lord have mercy and help me make it through the next free. Also strengthen and help my brothers in their fight and journey as well!
Monday 9th @Rebooter81
Bless you bro I had a setback just now
Please never get frustrated, Rome wasn’t built in a day
“A little progress each day creates big results”
I like it
Sunday 8th
I struggled in the morning, wanting that “fill”, but I came to my senses, Thanks be to God - and Live streaming Mass.
I generally had a good day and a nice evening. I’m glad my ‘empty-time’ appears mainly in the mornings now.
I’ve still got much work and rewiring to do, and more time to set aside for, but happy and look forward to it
I need to make more time for this.
There are a few things
The book, the plan, making time for it, but also being aware of it throughout the day, and perhaps even in those times where I’m not concerned about it - like when I’m working and with others - it’d be good just to remember, remember who I am, things I’ve done, my desire for better things, and who I am choosing to be, and become over time
@Rebooter81 Bless you brother, keep at it. Dive fully into that course. Mark Queppet says if you keep doing the metascript journaling every day, you will start reprogramming your habit and how you react in each situation.
Not bad at all for your first videos! I liked the songs. I enjoyed “Don’t Do It!” more and shared it with some friends.
@Forodwaith Well done brother - progress! Stay sober and vigilant and remember to seek Him in times of discomfort and stress.

Thanks. I liked your last video its good to keep on encouraging eachother and holding eachother accountable. I think if we frame it in terms of a wagging finger and condemnation we will likely fail but if we frame it in positive terms: ’ I want to change, I’m not the person I used to be, I can do this, ‘I’m worth changing my life for’ then this hopefully will be a recipe for success. I just know the minute it’s framed as ‘you terrible person for watching such awful videos’ ‘pervert’ 'sinner ’ ‘naughty boy! Must do better!’ Then I will likely rebel and fail. As a group we don’t really do that but even the ‘must do better’ vibe isn’t necessarily helpful because we haven’t identified what thoughts are driving us we are just beating ourselves with a big stick until we behave and then the inner child rises up and says ‘f*ck you’ I am going to watch porn.
Instead we need to reconnect with our emotions in the moments of pressure and ask ourselves what are we feeling? Normally sad, lonely, angry and remind ourselves that its in our best interests not to indulge this addiction. Maybe reconnecting with our inner child is what we all need to do? Maybe that’s just woo but we need to be self aware that’s for sure
@Rebooter81 The main reason why most of us continue to do this again and again is emotional pain. It’s a lack of peace and fulfilment in our lives. We’re living very contrary to our values and the person we wish to become, and that frustration builds up and worsens with time. And we’re not great at dealing with stressful situations either. The addicted brain has an imbalance of stress-relieving chemicals, so something that would be 4/10 stressful for a healthy person may be an 8 or a 9/10 stressful situation for us. We only regain that healthy balance again after rebooting.
Self-awareness is key, just like you said, so we can identify what emotions are driving us back there and what the real solution is that will give us true fulfilment and peace.
Monday, november 9
All good. Work is going well, I’m learning a lot every day. Feels good to have a more busy life, when I’m at home I mostly want to chill and relax.
No regrets about stopping PMO, I feel much more energetic and capable of taking on the challenges of life
Thank You Lord for this new journey of freedom
Chack in: Day 3
Yes @anon67854825, it is difficult but now more than ever I am very hopeful! Also, I don’t want to leave the forum as a failure, if I leave I would like to leave the forum, telling everyone my story of self-improvement
That’s right, maybe the best way to overcome it is knowing that masturbation isn’t good, and especially knowing the benefits of nofap for our brain, but not thinking about it so much when the urges come, and doing other things that make us enjoy life.
@Forerunner Thanks man, I’ve seen your videos and I think they can help me a lot. I love that you always thanks God for everything. I should be as grateful as you.
Ten days in
I’m really struggling to act out today so please keep me in prayer. Came across some borderline said this morning and if that happens again, I will have to restart my reboot.
