The thing is what makes me suspicious of whether u are using Google translate is that . The work sahodara is too formal in malayalam man. Chetta is more normal

Sus :face_in_clouds::face_in_clouds::face_with_peeking_eye:
Bruhhhh you work for CIA??? :face_with_spiral_eyes::face_with_monocle::face_with_monocle:

Huh no lol :joy:

But if u are not using Translate , I admit I am quite jealous of your ability to learn multiple languages lol

Well tbh i did use Google translator now
Like i am lazy
Instead of thinking so hard recollecting the difficult language of yours which is malayalam
I used Google translator

Its fine. I am not going to judge u based on that :joy:

But I will judge you if u dont give us a party for your birthday.

Sahodara sahodari is a generalized and descent word.
Chetta and Omana kutty are highly stigmatized and sometimes disrespectful words used to mock malayalam and malayalis Especially your dressing style in movies
So i hate use these words

Online party :partying_face: :tada:
:birthday::moon_cake: here’s the cake

Of course it is. But its more formal . It was more common used in earlier times. Its like using the Hindi word " paranthu " instead of lekin

I would argue it depends upon the tone and the intention of the user . In normal scenarios chetta is actually a respectful word.

And Omana kutty ? Wth is that :joy: . I cant think of anything other than the name of a person.

Its totally fine . But I am afraid u got this info through Google.

Omana kutty means a beloved girl
Like I said your language is one of the most difficult language i know so far because there are many regional dialects
The region you stay might have never used the word Omana Kutty
Thats why you aren’t aware
