Hey Mr lem. Thanks for reviving this. I’m on day 39 now. I’ve had multiple near relapse situations and the habit mentioned in the 90day hero’s challenge thread is really helping me keep me mindful of these urges and not letting them detract me from my streak. Also as successful days go by, my opinion of porn and also my physiological response to it seems more detached.
All in all I am happy and smoothly sailing along. Glad to be off the compulsive patterns of the past.

How about you guys?

Maintaining the right mindset has been weakness. Currently got 10 days, can’t allow myself to get sloppy for a single moment. You’re almost half way to 90, keep it up

Thanks brother. Try cold showers. A Highly underrated urge busting trick. Also if urges do come and they’re going beyond the point of no return, then in my in experience just indulge in MO instead of watching porn. Recovery is much faster and you’ll also feel less crappy afterwards since it was just a biological urge that you took care of instead of feeding your mind more porn.

It’s crazy how much damage peeking does right? Might as well MO at that point. Ofc if you don’t peek in the first place life is much easier

Just happened to me. I edged and ended up relapsing. Back to zero after managing 41 days.

If it’s of any help, I’ve heard it’s a much quicker process to get back on track after a long streak like yours. E.g. someone who does daily pmo that has a 7 day streak is worse off than someone that had a 41 day streak that is currently on 7 days

Yep, its also the freshness of the memory that just a day ago you were on top of the world.

Not so fast, I’ve only gone and f**ked it. I can’t believe I keep running into the same trap that leads me to relapse.

By hey, 16 days straight of not doing the deed is not nothing. The journey continues

5 days in, glad to be back on the board. Been smooth sailing for the most part

Day 15 going pretty stable so far. No near-relapse situations. I am focusing the high energy onto productive activities and it is working like a charm. How are you guys doing?
