Suddenly after 12 days he starts name-dropping movies huh?
yeah man I was confused too what just happened here.
Guys @Samaranjay and @Ash_Matt , I have put down the names of some of my favourite movies that I will watch if I ever feel down and out again. These films don’t have any triggering scenes , so these are some beautiful movies worth watching. I could have added the names of Rocky(1976), The Shwashank Redemption (1994), Two brothers (2004), The pursuit of happyness (2006), Into the wild (2007) too, but these movies contain some amount of violence, sexual triggers, vulgarity or profanity which I don’t want to see anymore.

After creating a long term plan a week ago, and making several changes, I still relapsed. And the major reason for that has been my own mind. I have been keeping myself away from unproductive usage of screen for a week, but during all this time, I have been living with a fantasizing brain craving for “something” all the time. So, fantasy is even more dangerous than porn. Now, I’ll have to make a few more changes to my lifestyle and behaviour to keep myself from relapsing again. At least for more than a week.
Don’t hard-core dopamine detox at least until day 21. Dopamine detox by all means, but gradually cut down till you reach day 21.
Bro, I can’t even understand sometimes that why do I need screen? Only reason that I see is checking my mails, coming here, reading newspaper and ebooks… and all of that takes less than 2-3 hours. But every now and then, whether via phone or computer, I breach this limit and end up relapsing. I don’t really have anything else to do on the internet besides above mentioned things which don’t help much in dopamine secretion. I gotta do something about it.
All that gives you dopamine brother. Heck, even eating spicy food gives you dopamine. And anything that gives you dopamine can become an addiction.
