Evening journal:

My accountability partner suggested to write in the evening too and embedd the thoughts about the future in my sleep. Im focussing on whats positive very much. Tomorrow I want to make time to harden the knives properly and make two hooks for my mother, she asked me today. Believe in yourself!

Because I promised it I will now write the evening journal. I ate a lot and Im gaining weight very quickly, I already weigh over 70kg and Im training a lot. Im very positive and very focussed. I re-recorded Earl Nightingale’s “Strangest secret in the world” with my own voice and left out parts that I didnt agree with. I listened to this audiobook so many times, I could record the first few minutes by memory. I now have it deeply, deeply seated in my mind, helping me like a good ally. I watched to “Reject Modernity, embrace masculinity” videos today and saw a man rescuing his dog from a burning building while firefighters didnt dare to go in and it made me cry man, had to work out right after I did like 50 consecutives (pushups) and then did hte normal workout too. Its the same feeling like when I see an ambulance rush a red light and all cars stopping and making way so it can go through at like 80kmh and save a guy. This unity it makes me very emotional dude.

We’re all gonna make it brahs, god is with you dude

This journal helped me establish routine and control but over the past weeks I arrived at two stumbling blocks namely sleep and hardening of the blades. They will be overcome. How do I overcome the sleep problem? Whats the problem? I go to bed too late most of hte time. I dont start preparing to go to bed early enough. Why dont I start early enough? Im distracted. What are the distractions? Internet etc ofc. So I ll have to have a rule to turn off the internet at 8pm for good every time, except when its for work. Well okay, I ll have to prioritize this and push other things away.

Now what about the hardening?
For those of you who dont know, steel has to be softened extremely by making it very hot and slowly cooling it (annealing) over a few hours. Then there is no tension in the blade anymore and it wont warp during hardening (which is heating and then rapidly cooling in oil or water). My very thin blades warped over and over and I suspect it could be overcome by a very very good annealing process in an annealing oven and then very careful hardening. This is a great thing to explore but because I need finished knives now I will finish them with some thicker steel which thanks to its increased rigidity wont warp. Another idea would be to then grind down the thick steel to thin AFTER the hardening (which will take a lot of time but come to think of it, I saw someone else do exactly that! This is what I will do. I will try to cool the blade somehow so I dont undo the hardening with the heat from grinding. Alright folks we got it! Ladies and gentlemen, we got him

Why?:sweat_smile::fire::fire::fire::fire:
Don’t you know that the first thing you should do when you wake up in the morning is drink water?

Drinking water every day on an empty stomach PROMOTES DIGESTIVE HEALTH, MAKE YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM STRONGER, FLUSH TOXINS OUT OF YOUR BODY, GIVES YOU CLEAR SKIN, REGULATE BLOOD PRESSURE, HELPS A LOT ON NOFAP BY BUILDING STRONG WILLPOWER AND KEEPS YOUR HEART HEALTHY.
Water is the best drink to satisfy thirst and replace fluid lost during exercise. Drinking water before you start exercising helps to boost your energy and that way, you will improve more at exercising.

Evening journal:

Sometimes in social situations I feel like people annoy me and I actually dont want to have a conversation with them but I stick it out and stay there and stay there unable to end the conversation. I hereby decide that this is not the present situation anymore and I will break free from bad conversations easily. I feared I would be too brash but they are brash for not caring enough about me to notice Im uncomfortable. I exit bad conversations :+1:

Recently I noticed my words have a big effect on my perspective and saying negtive things or bringing up words of doubt, regret or failure intensely bothers me and I notice that it affects my perspective and mental attitude. Thats why I pay as much attention as I can to speaking positively and in terms with which I agree and which I want to bring about. I can attest to the manifesting power of speech very directly and I frequently observe direct effects from changes in my policy of speech (so to say).

Earl Nightingale’s “you become what you think about” is very noticable and its getting more and more impactful the more I focus I put on it
