Video games, anime, Social Media, … Are all waste of time and they all strengthen the reward system. Those who say: “No need to stop anime or video games and just enjoy your life” don’t know about this stuff, they don’t know that it will only make things worse.
This is such an indirect reference. I don’t get it dude why you added this thing after posted in your post. I don’t wanna be rude but it is just irritating and I have a question if they were that harmful then I guess you must have stopped watching youtube, anime, Tv etc, like everything right? (I am not counting on educational purposes right now) Now don’t tell me that you never watched random video or shorts in your ongoing streak, why, doesn’t all this stuff waste of time.

Blocking stuff like youtube does make the way easier in the journey but that doesn’t mean when you accomplished a goal shouldn’t reward yourself and everybody has different ways of rewarding themselves some watch web series or have something good but that doesn’t they are wasting, it just they are having their own time.
Mr. @BlackMagic123 sure, I can assure you that what I said was just to give my point of view because it’s not only @The_integrous_one who I was referring to, it was to everyone. Let’s be honest, he’s not the only one who thinks this way.
Secondly, Anime, video games, … Are all waste of time yes precisely but not cut them forever you know, it’s not banning anything, just reducing the quantity of time spent in screen is recommended, watching funny jokes or listing to music on YouTube is not wrong you know for valiant reasons.

That’s exactly my point, you told nevergiveup to completely give up anime that’s why I pointed it out and that too you said him to completely avoid it just to avoid triggers.
If someone leaves all these things like video games, movies, animes to improve his life in general and have more time for productivity then it’s ok to quit these.
BUT if someone is quitting these just because he wants to get rid of ■■■■ addiction then he’s the stupidiest person alive.
■■■■ addiction is all about dopamine craving, if you completely cut yourself off from other good sources of dopamine that you used to enjoy apart from ■■■■ then you are bound to take refuge in ■■■■ in few days.
The key is to find a balance between enjoyment and good habits, don’t overdo anything, keep within limits and most important thing is to stay away from any kind of pornographic content intentionally, accidental triggers are ok, just learn to not respond to them. That’s how I made two 100+ streaks in the past, I speak from experience not by mere assumptions and knowledge.
