1 Like = +1 day to nofap

Hey guys,

Mainly I want to ask how you feel about the kind of posts I mentioned in the topic title? Asking likes to add days to nofap challenge.

There is even an option to report posts that asks for likes and these kind of like asking is clearly fit in that category in my opinion. But I’m not sure how to feel about the people who act like that. I don’t feel that they are serious about their challenge. It seems to be childish and even stupid to think that more likes will help them get over their p* issue.

What are you thoughts on this?

No I don’t think so. All they want just to become part of the nofap family. It is important to have someone to support you with your addiction.

At least for me, i have previously 6 month of nofap. Then after my relepase it becomes difficult to handle nofap because i only think of myself for the benefit. But things become easy when i installed this Apps. When ever i think of PMO, i subconsciously remember my companion. I can’t let them down. Somehow it becomes an inspiration at this points.

I hope you can understand why some people makes that kind of post. It’s not about attention. All they want is a connection.

Exactly as you say, in social medias people use likes to show off among their friends and familes. I don’t think that is necessary in community like this

Please understand this, in this community it is very very easy to get a good companion to continue your journey and remind yourself you are not alone. I don’t think one cannot get cured simply by thinking " Oh I got this many likes, so I should not do it…" in my opinion it’s total bullshit sorry if I offend you.

To be honest, I hate those like beggers… It’s my opinion

It’s okay, I believe in goodness others can offer to me. I don’t know it is troublesome for other peoples. But my point is.
If people really uphold what they preach, that makes them a good person and there is there’s an example of somebody failing to practice what he preaches—and that’s not very decent behavior.

I think we all agree on that. But there is nothing wrong with people asking for 1like=1day nofap. As long as he/she stays true on his/her claim. Better if that person keeps his diary updated from time to time so that the one who supported him/her knows he/she is serious and committed to what has been said.

Actually I wonder, what’s the point of doing the challenge, if you just start fapping one day after you reached your goal. Doing the challenge is not about winning the challenge itself, it’s a tool to stay motivated. The actual purpose is to get rid of the neural pathways, the habit and the mindset of that porn is needed.

It’s like those people who stop eating sweets to lose weight but as soon as they reach their desired weight, they eat them again and nothing changed.
